Grayson is a gorgeous gray/fawn appaloosa male who has been producing excellent cria since he was put to work. He has good fiber and conformation that is passed on to his offspring. Grayson is halter trained, smaller framed, and easy to handle. We have always loved cria from Grayson, and now we're enjoying some of his grandchildren. Check out Little Bean and Kibou, both out of Grayson daughters. We're excited to breed Grayson to Tilly this year, an Ace of Spades daughter.

Gorgeous Grey Male!

RKR's Little Abe

SuriHerdsire (Male)White, Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 32425208DOB: 5/25/20159 yrs
**DESCRIPTION BY PREVIOUS OWNER** RKR's LITTLE ABE is out of Medium Silver Grey My Sunshine Sally and multi-champion classic Medium Silver Grey WLK Silver Threads. Sally is the only Grey offspring out of MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous. Silver Threads has passed away. He was well known for consistently producing grey when bred to grey. Silver Threads was full Peruvian and had a pedigree with every alpaca on it being either rose grey or silver grey. Overall, you will find at least one grey Suri in each of the 4 previous generations of Abe’s pedigree making him a 5th generation grey male. Abe has wonderful confirmation and a dense, lustrous, silver-grey blanket. The locks are more of an open lock structure that hand spinners love, it is showing great staple length growth, and the fiber has a wonderful cool handle to it. At 15 months of age a quick test was done on his fleece and came back with an AFD of 21.9 microns and a SD of 5.4. A sample was sent in for a full fiber test from his first shearing at age 2 and the histogram results were good. An average fiber diameter of 23.1 microns with a standard deviation of 5.3 microns. Another fleece sample was submitted at age 3 and Abe is maintaining his fineness pretty well. The results on that histogram were slightly better with an AFD of 22.9 microns and a SD of 5.1. Ian Watt Skin Biopsy at 31 months (see the 3rd picture): Density - 66.5 follicles/sq mm S/P Ration - 9.6:1 SAFD - 21.6 microns, SD of 2.7 microns PAFD - 25.5 microns, SD of 3.2 microns S to P Spread - 3.9 microns The density and the secondary to primary spread are both outstanding!

Description

*DESCRIPTION BY PREVIOUS OWNERS* Cheesecake is a gorgeous female out of Miss Hannah and Grayson. As a young cria, she was a bit shy and skittish, but she has become more and more curious as she grows and will now come up for a kiss and neck rub here and there. She has great confirmation and excellent fiber, and we expect she will be a fine producer like her mother. ___________________________________ WOW!! Another excellent find for us! Cheesecake has an amazing pedigree and awesome potential to contribute to our appy lineup! These genetics are not found everyday and are becoming more rare as time goes by. I am so glad I was looking in the right place at the right time when I found her! Cheesecake is now exhibiting some light grey spots on her shoulders, which became visible after shearing this year. *SEPT 2023* FINALLY...we have Cheesecake bred to our new male, Little Abe! This should be something special!
