AVC AJ's Kodiak-Futurity Champion Producer Eea1a3 color genotype. Having an a3 allele has proven consistently to produce that rich blue-black in our herd. It is being passed through multiple generations and they are non-fading true blacks (not brown on the outside). Kodiak is closed to outside breedings! Accept no substitutes, Kodiak is the best at increasing your chances of black offspring! Kodiak has an outstanding track record of producing black over 80% of the time when bred to black and over 60% of the time when bred to any other color! Amazing!! Kodiak's offspring have taken the show ring by storm winning championships from coast to coast! If your breeding for exceptional black, improve your odds and book your breeding to Kodiak, today! He produces champion fawn offspring too! Kodi's offspring have been exported to Europe. Kodiak's gorgeous daughter, Skyfiber's Caitriona, was awarded the female Reserve Color Championship at The Futurity 2017! Judge Amanda Vandenbosch praised her exceptional uniformity of color (no white fibers) and micron, the consistency of her architecture from topline to belly, the brightness of her fleece, excellent conformation and incredibly soft hand. She is the complete package in conformation, style and fleece characteristics! Kodiak is an incredible full-Peruvian, 3/8 Accoyo, true black male. Kodiak's phenotype is outstanding. Kodiak is straight, has substance of bone and a gorgeous head. His fleece is exceptional. This well-organized fleece is a delight to touch. Kodiak's fleece is one of the blackest, non fading fleeces, a blue black with no white fibers. Kodiak is the complete package with uncompromising fineness, density, and uniformity of micron and crimp. Proudly co-owned with Blue Ridge Alpacas (WI)

Royal Diamante's Dancing Queen

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 35579205DOB: 6/7/20186 yrs
Royal Diamante's Dancing Queen came to us in December 2018 full of youthful exuberance & coated with everything a happily-filthy cria should be, that being hay, snow & twigs. She would have been called a flower child in the 1960's due to her mellow nature & that she will stand for most haltering & checkups without needing to be in the chute, save when there's food, which takes priority over everything, as it should for a growing cria Dancing Queen is growing out with a fine fleece, with fantastic numbers on her fleece, which will be going to several shows this summer and fall. Her bright, curious personality & her extremely mellow nature are a blessing in such a young animal, and her nose is always there at the fence curious as to what's happening on the other side. It was recommended by walking fleece judge Judy Kreske, at the CABO show in 2019 that "her best fleece is coming in now (2019) and she'll be stunning...this is a female that needs a biopsy done and bred to a top male when she's ready" Despite being listed as true black, which she is, as she ages she has inherited dime-sized beige spots in her fleece along one shoulder and her opposite rump, hence her color is now listed as dark indefinite, though her blanket remains almost true black. She is another of our mellow alpacas, walking vs running places unless there's food involved, and enjoys watching vs acting to see what needs doing Dancing Queen has been confirmed pregnant (fetus seen 9/21/2021) for her first cria in February 2022, so we're hoping for a little one as fantastic as she is

Description

Her first cria, and Dancing Queen did an awesome job with him! He is a little popcorn ball, with curls and lumps and bumps of fleece EVERYWHERE...the photo does not do it all justice. He will be fawn, probably a medium fawn but with all those curls of fleece and his gorgeous little white-lipped mouth, he always looks as if he's gotten into trouble, or has a reverse milk moustache He is adorable as he is fearless, the first to start a run around the pen and to go to something new, and he has the heart of a fighter, as he backs down from nothing even at his tiny age and stature. Almost 30 lb at six weeks and growing still, he's going to be a stunning one when he's older with his fleece and his conformation, and that little nose and dark-rimmed eyes that must see and sniff everything
