5X Champion! Argento is a striking young male! He is a gray son of FTAF's Blackbeard (2019 Futurity Herdsire of the Year) and grandson of our Grand River Columbo. His conformation is spot on. He has a beautiful head. His fiber is very fine with excellent architecture. He exhibits very good density. As one walking fleece judge stated. "There really isn't much to improve on here. He is lovely." We agree! He really is a full package. His bloodline is impressive. Blackbeard, Buccaneer, Pot of Gold & Royal Inca Legend! His dam brings in Columbo, Rincon Cloud & Rayo Del Sol. Lots of gray and color. He just brought home the Reserve Championships from the Michigan show in both halter and walking fleece against some very tough competition! Argento is showing well. He just earned another blue and Reserve in the Buckeye Fall Fest. Argento took 2 blue and 2 Color Champions at a double show - Rail Splitter Show and Illinois Alpaca and Fiber Festival under Judges Sharon Loner and Peter Kennedy. LIMITED 5 BREEDINGS AT $500 then his stud fee will increase. We have sold all 5 of the limited breedings at $500 and Argento has started breeding! We have a Certified Fiber Sorter sort our 2020 shearing and Argento scored VERY well. His blanket at 3 years old is a grade 2! The Secondary to Primary ratio is high. A 9 out of 10 on luster, 9 out of 10 on uniformity of crimp and high frequency crimp! Update: Argento is now proven! Proudly Co-owned with Houchin Family Alpacas and Acadiana Alpacas, LLC

OH MY IS THIS ONE CUTE ALPACA! Tia always draws the attention of folks at shows and visitors to the farm. She is that rare harlequin alpaca that is born with fawn fleece only to reveal lovely grey at the first shearing. She has a beautifully spotted face. Tia is full of spunk and solid as a rock. Her fleece has crimp from skin to tip. Take a look at her ARI and you will see about every color on the color card. You will also see some of the top names in the industry listed such as Snowmass Andean Bronze, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Snowass Royal Flush and Snowmass Ovation as well as 5Peruvian Silverado on her dams side. The sire's side brings in PPeruvian Timoteo, PPPeruvian Cornus, DPA Quetzal, My Peruvian Zuleika, Mr. Butterscoth and Zephyrus as well as PPeruvian Pluro. Really a genetic powerhouse. When we attended the Magical Farms sale each year our daughter would spy the cutest leopard spotted cria in the pasture and beg us to buy it. Year after year the pairing of Quetzal and Zuleika produced these lovely cria. Tia is a descendant of that pairing and we jumped at the chance to bring her to our farm. She is co-owned with our daughter. Tia just keeps knocking it out of the park! She has delivered one stellar cria after another. So far she has delivered a harlequin, a pinto, a solid black and a fawn with black points. All have had lovely fleece. Tia has definitely earned her place as one of our top dams on the farm. Tia has now been bred to Red Granites Man of Mystery!! Thanks to Ann?ie Hunt for allowing us to breed to him. We expect an extremely dense cria with tons of architecture to its fleece! To say we are excited for this cria would be an understatement!! Wow!! Tia has delivered a gorgeous 20 pound female from her pairing with Man of Mystery!! This gal will be one to keep an eye on if you have a pattern or harlequin breeder. She is fawn but has lighter fawn spots. Could she be a light harlequin like her daddy? With 2 harlequin parents could she be homozygous? Love, Love this cria!! Thank you Tia for continuing to give us beautiful cria!!

Description

Stunning male cria from the pairing of Tia and Argento! His fleece is true black. He is dense with fine fleece that exhibits very good crimp. Being from a harlequin dam it is possible he has the ability to throw harlequin offspring. Tia continues to give us very nice cria. Born on Columbus Day earned him the name Explorer!
