Treasure Valley’s Tres Equis is the son of Snowmass XXXtreme, and one of only 3 gray males ever produced by this legendary Snowmass line. A 5-time banner winner, Tres is a large framed male with spot on conformation supporting a fleece that is dense, fine, and maintains an incredible handle for a 11-year old breeding male. How very impressive that this male is producing champions and exhibiting relevance to our industry’s gray community at the age of 11!! Tres is certainly passing these prepotent genetics on to his progeny. Examples include, Rosehaven’s Triple Threat, a gray male having won 23 banners and 4 Judges Choice awards; and a Tres girl that won the gray female Color Champion at the 2019 AOA International Fleece show. These are just two examples of the 87% of his offspring that have been shown and placed in the ribbons. And, since we are going for the gray here, then you will be pleased to know that when bred to a gray dam, Tres has thrown gray 78% of the time! We are pleased to announce that we have acquired Morning Sky's Spectacular by Design from Morning Sky Farm and Lynn and Bob McClurg. This young lady won championships at her first 3 shows as a juvenile and has not let up since. We thank our good friends Lynn and Bob for making her available to us; she is truly "Spectacular". Spec has now proven herself a top flight production female at KCF with the addition of her latest cria, KCF Sky Blue Pink. This young girl was sired by the incredible Tres Equis, and does not disappoint. Tres has really stamped his fleece on all of our females bred to date; dense, fine, and structured. Sky is just another in the likes of Reverie, Tres Ami, Triple Threat, KCF Empress, and many other fabulous Tres Equis offspring. We plan on showing Sky at some 2021 events and then making her available during our spring Showstring Sale; keep an eye out for this one!!

Well, after a few misses, we were able to get arguably our top black female bred to Snowmass Midnight Diamonte', and boy was it worth the wait!! The result is our KCF Phenom Noir, a true black macho male that we feel has a tremendous head start toward a fabulous career at KCF. Not since Diamonte' himself have we seen the combination of fleece structure and handle on a true black fleece. It simply feels like a plush berber carpet of alpaca. And at his first trip away from the ranch in Ohio, the judges apparently agreed, Phenom won both his yearling male classes as the youngest in both, and with a large number of entries in each. Then it was on to Virginia for their dual show and the results were similar - but even better; a first and second with both being followed by Reserve Championships!! Now we're talking! Bummer Update: Phenom has come up with a tender break in his fleece for the spring show season. Even with this minor setback, he was able to stay in the top half of all his classes so far. We are pulling him for the remainder of the 21' Spring season, but you can bet your ass he will make a triumphant return!! 2022 Update: Heeeee's back. So far, three banners in four shows in the spring of 2022. Phenom is off to a great start and, we are happy to say that he has a new co-owner.
