PureSuri herd is the best example we can give of a superb breeding philosophy. The Armstrongs, formerly Latah Creek, dominated the suri show ring with, amongst others, their Inca line white suris and it was artistry in the making when we combined the lines of Latah Creek with those of Pucara Kahuna. Lexus was at the top of the class in our 2013 drop. He has grown out with exceptional density combined with fineness and who we have used extensively since spending his 2015 breeding season in Colorado at Goldyn Rae Alpacas. The production there verified our hopes for him to produce to the excellence of his line! He shows off a stunning head on a well conformed frame but its the fleece that spanks of his royal lineage. It is exactly what we breed for. High luster, in fact luster to burn! It is fine and dense and displays nice independence of locking with that buttery greasy handle that we love to see in our program. In March 2014 he tested at 18.6m 3.9sd 20.9cv Sired by none other than the five times Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year Pucara Kahuna, his mother also comes from immaculate lineage. PureSuri Lexus is a daughter of one of the densest males we have ever seen, LCA Viho (Inca son) and her dam is a Snowmass Ice Dancer daughter that is infused with the superior genetics of Uribe and Ganador. We have been stoked with the production from Lexus. We were offering him for sale but we don't think so any more! The cria have had blazing luster with density that is so hard to achieve. He has taken a very important place in our ET program. We are of course selling breedings. He will compliment your suri program with all the suri fleece traits that we admire.

A DONOR FEMALE FOR THE PUCARA ET PROGRAM Wenona represents the very best of what we have been trying to achieve at Pucara. She sports the suri fleece of the future and there is no arguing that her ancestory is phenomenal! She had a 2014 female cria sired by Chakotah that was our best female for that year. The cria, Deanerys, went on to win Bred and Owned Female Championship at the Futurity, 2016. She has given us another Chakotah girl in 2015 also delightful, also in our best. For 2016 we bred her to Pucara PureSuri Tikanui's full brother Jet Stream who is headed to the UK. She produced another phenomenal cria. In 2016, we flushed an embryo from her breeding to Pucara PureSuri Lexus, and Dakini Venture Capital -ET was the result. Gorgeous, owned by Michelle Alexander, who purchased that embryo at the Futurity auction! Thanks Michelle for your faith in our program! Obviously, a Kahuna daughter, Wenona brings in the famous lines of Pperuvian Inca, Pperuvian Bruxo, Ganador and Uribe and the elite dams of none other than DDF Accoyo Amore and LCA Ice Dance an Inca grand daughter via the famous Gillian Rose. Uribe and Ganador are in the next generation off the pedigree page behind Snowmass Ice Dancer. That is one stacked ancestory. We did not show Wenona because she had a severe fleece break at weaning but see her fleece now! Yowza!!! Even at age it shows off marvelously. Even on her third and fourth fleece's her luster is amazing and the fleece spanks of that advanced styling of flat lock displaying a thick creamy luster that is born by having fineness and density of follicles with a close secondary to primary spread! Her regrowth is superb with independence of lock on a stellar frame with a stylish head. In 2013 Jude graded the fleece between 18-21 micron and again in 2015 at shearing at 21-23 micron. Her 2016 grading was 23-25micron. So yes, she is a door female for our ET program: Genetics plus. All prepotent. Has produced high quality cria. Has the phenotypical traits desired. Wenona has given us embryos already! She gave us a natural born male cria by Madiba in August 2019 and judging by its quality will be rebred to him late fall.
