From Reserve Champion at his 1st Canadian Show to Supreme Champion at his 2nd show. Pallaton was able to settle a few females easily at 2 years of age. The temperament on this boy is stellar and so is his fleece. High frequency super fine consistent fleece on a mid sized perfect frame. What more could you ask for? How about producing black? Yup, Pallaton's first cria was black! We are very pleased with the offspring that Pallaton has sired. His offspring from 2021 are some of the best produced here at KJ Alpacas. Jewel is just that, a jewel. She is square, cute, dense, crimpy, bright and sweet. Our first Gangster female and of typical Gangster quality. Jewel impressed the judges too with her fine uniform fleece on a very strong frame. Jewel gives us a girl by Titan! This cria just born is showing some excellent density! (SOLD) Jewel is an excellent mother! We bred her to color as both her dam and sire are fawn. Jewel delivered a very dark girl by Pallaton! I think this may be our best cria of the year. I am really loving the density on Kalibaut. She reminds me of Jewel as a cria...lets hope she grows up just as nice! Multiple Champion in the US. (SOLD) Jewel delivers another girl! You could not ask for more, the epitome of excellence: Red Granites Alydar By Val D Lsere. There has never been a Grey Alpaca to stir up as much commotion as this one, and probably never will be. For all that have seen and judged this male, he has been represented as the IDEAL standard for grey fleece. The evenness of his fineness and the astounding density and uniformity that is found within his blanket is simply incomparable. It is a very advanced, high-frequency crimp style from skin to tip, rarely seen in his color group. This crimp style continues right down the leg and into his belly area, also running up through the neck all in a very uniform manner. Judges’ have described his fleece as “angel-like and delicate” with “superior uniformity of micron” and carrying the “dangerous combination of fineness and density”. Alydar was shown at one of the highest level shows, Nationals, and took first place as a juvenile, yearling, 2-year-old, and mature male, he also did so at The Futurity, taking a first place as both a yearling and 2-year-old and then moved into the champion circle. He also won the 2021 Futurity Judges' Choice Male & 2023 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Champion trophy. Many juveniles place well the first year but the real test is if they can stand the same position or even better position the following years, and hold onto their exceptional traits. He has a total of 41 Championship banners, 10 Judges' Choice awards, a Supreme Championship, a Grand Champion, and Spirit of the Industry win to his name, not to mention he was named the #1 National High Point Huacaya Male in 2022 & #3 National High Point Huacaya Male in Fleece for 2023. He became the first gray to win the prestigious Futurity Judges’ Choice award & to win a National Supreme Championship trophy, and also became the second gray alpaca to have won over 30 Championship banners.
