We'll miss this sweet, wonderful macho. His fleece was plush, fine at silky at 16 years old when he passed away. Oh so silky Casimiro "lingers" and still has one of the densest, finest, drapiest and silkiest dark fleeces I've ever seen. At our local fair, the men even ooo'd and ahh'd when they touched his fleece. This exceptional handle is partially explained with an initial histogram of 18.0 m and 3.0 cv, very low scale height, no medullation and a very supple drape. Casimiro progeny are all improvements over their dams. Breeding Guarantee: We consider a stud fee as an investment by the purchaser and we make sure you get something for your return. Akiak carries a lot of color in his ancestry, pronounced fleece qualities that is uniform and top notch from his top knot to his toes, with a good fleece weight for a male his age and size. Akiak is a young male that has shown well in the ring at a number of well known shows, collecting a stunning collection of 1st place ribbons in a number of competitive shows. Giving the impression that he is carrying his Sire’s reputation in the ring of Reserve Champion, along with a number of other top ribbons. He is an up and coming breeding male with many females lined up for him this year. Just looking at his statistics and how he carries himself we are looking forward to seeing his offspring. Akiak carries what we aspire to in our breeding program, he has a lot to offer for breeding for color, fineness with all the character for top quality fleece production. he is registered as a black, BUT, when we sheared we were surprised to find he has brown spots through out his fleece in true Appaloosa fashion, spots along his spine and over his rump. Fleece color has matured to more of a bay black with very dark brown coloring down his legs on the inside to the back outside of his back legs. Akiak has settled females and is available for breeding to interested females. He has two cria's on the ground now, one female one male both his coloring!

Description

Peace has excellent fineness, length and density for a black alpaca which she inherited from both of her top quality parents. She had the tell-tale wrinkles all the way up the back of her neck after we sheared her at two months old. Every offspring from her dam, ATV Delite, has ridiculously density and passed that trait on to her two previous crias, Adoration and Felecity. who both won ribbons at competitive shows. Peace is from two black parents with fine, crimpy, very dense, silky fleeces. Peace inherited density, character, extreme uniform fineness, very long staple length and silky handle along with strong conformation. She has many award winning relatives in black, gray and fawn.
