The minute she delivered Ephraim we knew it had been the right choice. She has always produced dark offspring from light sires, but this shiny black cria was a beautiful surprise, and there were more to come. When we sheared Ephraim as a cria, the rolling skin on his neck and chest were beyond anything we had experienced. You can see some of the rolls in the picture of him at a few weeks. It probably explains why he sheared better than a 4 pound blanket!! of 17.4 micron fleece at 10 months of age!!…and the handle…SO buttery soft!
