How do you say SIMPLY GORGEOUS?...we say EPHRAIM! From his incredible head to his toes, the coverage of fine, crimpy fleece will take your breath away. We had originally thought we would send a Diomedes daughter to Colorado to pair with Tuscan Gold, but somehow Athena drew that straw. The minute she delivered Ephraim we knew it had been the right choice. She has always produced dark offspring from light sires, but this shiny black cria was a beautiful surprise, and there were more to come. When we sheared Ephraim as a cria, the rolling skin on his neck and chest were beyond anything we had experienced. You can see some of the rolls in the picture of him at a few weeks. It probably explains why he sheared better than a 4 pound blanket!! of 17.4 micron fleece at 10 months of age!!…and the handle…SO buttery soft! His personality is wonderful around his pen mates and our kids. He has been getting better and better with age, and he has 4 healthy crias on the ground ON JUST OUR FARM! They have ranged from White to Dark Fawn. We have used him for so many of our farm breedings. He continues to wow us with the density and fineness he passes down! Noble is a daughter of multi-champion true black herdsire, Crescent Moon's Daytona. She has a beautiful look and buttery soft, very uniform, fleece. She is very sweet, friendly, and on the smaller size.. This girl has years ahead of her of producing high quality offspring with an appealing look and likely wonderful personality! Noble's sire, Crescent Moon's Daytona, has done extremely well in the big competitive shows due to his impeccable conformation and extremely uniform fleece. His genetics are packed with elite Peruvian bloodlines. We have been very impressed with what he has produced for us over the past few years, including dark colors even when the dam is light. Dam, XXXtreme Flare's Ghia, has excellent conformation, as well as a beautiful look. She is out of Snowmass XXXtreme Flare and Sweet Pines Azera With so much color and quality in Noble's background, she is bound to produce dark rich, beautiful crias.. She produced a beautiful little brown boy that's a mini version of her, in July 2021! His name is Reddington. That was out of our herdsire, Antonio.
