Aussie Colorado Dillinger

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 823163DOB: 9/12/200024 yrs
A Peruvian Presidio son and Grandson of Accoyo Caligula, this guy has it all! An outstanding show ring record of his own ( 2X Color Champion with 10 Blue Ribbons) and now his cria all over the U.S are doing the same. Dillinger's dam is Medium Rose Grey Hannahruh, who has consistently produced award winning cria - including the well known Painted Sky Apres Vous and champion Grey, Aussie Rockford. His sire, Full Peruvian Presidio, perhaps the finest producing son of Accoyo Caligula, now has 7 "Get of Sire" wins and was 2nd in "Get of Sire" at the 2004 National Show, in what Judge Mike Safely called the "best Get of Sire class" he'd ever judged. But as they say, the proof is in the progeny. Dillinger's reputation is based on his proven ability to add density, crimp, compaction and darkness to his offspring. Take a look at just a few of Dillinger's award winning cria. There is Aussie Lady Derringer, who holds 6 First Place Ribbons as well as a Color & Reserve Color Championship. There is Aussie Dillinger's Ruger with 7-1st Place Ribbons & 4 Color Championships to date. And if you like Grey, there is NeverSummer's Billabong with multiple 1st Place finishes and a Reserve Color championship. And Dillinger is still producing winners...3 of his progeny were shown at the 2009 KY Classic in 3 Different Color classes. All 3 ribboned coming in 1st in Dark Silver Grey, 2nd in Medium Fawn splitting a pair of Patagonia Lennox girls, and a 3rd place in the Beige Class. Not only this....many of his sons are now working herdsires at farms. We are very excited about our recent acquistion of "The Man", Aussie Colorado Dillinger. We would like to thank John & JoAnn Datillo of Serene n'Green Alpacas and Steve & Cheryl Russell of Misty Morning Alpacas for making this Exceptional Herdsire available. He will be arriving at our farm in mid-April and will be ready to go to work. Take advantage of our breeding special!

Be one of the first to have CT JESTER'S REVELRY genetics! This handsome stud is from the El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo family line on the paternal side. He has a beautiful phenotype full coverage head that mimics that of his sire Duke of Wakeman's Court Jester. Both dam and sire have a strong fame with upright presence that has passed on to their offspring consistently. Not only does this boy have "the look", he has very fine fleece with nice bold crimp and incredible sheen to round out the total package. We are excited for the arrival of his first crias spring 2022! Rev is bred to a harliquin female for his first offspring, hopefully he passes all his beautiful fiber traits while letting the dams color come through! Both have beautiful full coverage heads so we know whatever color it will be something special!

Description

Ginger is a daughter of Aussie Colorado Dillinger, but her dam line is extremely cool as well. Her great-grandsire is Peruvian Vengador, an Accoyo bastion of fineness whose name appears (often multiple times) in the pedigrees of many of today's most prepotent studs. Her great-granddam, Peruvian Julieta, was owned by the renowned High Plains Alpacas of Canada, and was a foundation dam in their program. The other really cool surprise about Ginger was the discovery that she has SPOTS. They aren't screamingly obvious spots, but she definitely has them. Her base color is medium fawn, while dark fawn spots dot her blanket. The white of her face is also spotted. Is this due to the action of the harlequin appaloosa gene? I don't know for sure. Her granddam appears to have been a pinto, so it could be that these two pattern genes are playing together in an interesting fashion. One thing's for sure, it can't hurt her chances for throwing appaloosa! Aside from all of the above, Ginger is a lovely female. She is square in her proportions, and her head is simply ideal. She has good bone and pretty good coverage. Her fleece is long-stapled, with a soft hand and good uniformity. She is a VERY easy keeper. Ginger so far has had two beautiful male appaloosa crias and a pinto female!
