Gorgeous Classic Grey Male! To say we are excited about Chicago is an understatement. Besides his beautiful phenotype, and bright, dense, well structured fleece........his genetics are just not available in our area. Chicago is a compact male with very solid bone structure and a mighty fleece. The fleece is dense, fine, consistent and has amazing structure. He finished his show career with Reserve Champion Banners in the Jubilee and the Gala at MAPACA 2018. Chicago now has registered crias and almost all are classic grey or black. His genotype indicates that he does not carry dilution so that's not a surprise. All the crias have solid bone and conformation and exciting fleeces. The crias we have here are looking very exciting and the owners of all the others are very pleased. In fact, all breeders of his first crop have repeated the breeding at their farms. We invite you to come get your hands on them. We hope they will convince you to add Chicago's uncommon and outstanding genetics to your breeding program. He looks like he's prepotent for color, conformation and fleece characteristics. We have his some of his crias for sale and he is currently open to outside breedings. Chicago's first cria to hit the showring earned a !st place and RC in her first show. Congratulations to Seven Acres Alpaca Farm on Chicago Blues' banner. The first of many banner winning offspring. Crushed Velvet, another black female was awarded a CC in her first show. Seriously, you don't want to miss adding his genetics to your breeding program. We now have several of Chicago's offspring (both males and females) we are using in our program. We also have retained some of his maternal sisters. That means we are getting limited in the females we can use him with and he is looking for a new farm who can use him to his full potential. Full interest is now available but we would consider half interest as well. Don't hesitate to call to discuss the possibilities. You'll be glad you did. Color Genotype EEa3a2

Elite Grey/Roan

Enchanted Darling

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Silver Grey
AOA# 35504351DOB: 8/12/20186 yrs
This elite female is co-owned with Lynn Edens of Little Creek Farm Alpacas. We had planned to offer her for sale as an auction lot in the Parade of Champions 2020. Since that was cancelled we bred her to Chicago and she has just delivered that cria (7/16/2021). The cria is a black male named Chicago's Storm. He's exactly what we were hoping for. Check him out under his own listing. Darling just delivered her 2022 cria sired by Snowmass Smokin' Wave. We're impressed again. Smokin' Haute looks like he will be just that! A nice sturdy male who looks like a dark silver grey under his cria tips. Watch for him under his own listing. Darling is bred to Divine Optics for her 2025 cria. Color Genotype EEa4a4 non-grey

Description

Darling's first cria sired by Chicago. Chicago's Storm will be exciting to watch. I just love this young male. Storm has a very desirable phenotype and wonderful fine fleece with a great hand. Be sure to check his fiber stats. He has done well in the show ring amidst some very tough competition. I expect his fleece to continue to improve as he matures. We're really impressed with his density and uniformity of micron. Chicago's Storm is part of the black herd that we co-own with Little Creek Farm. Storm is now proven and we expect his crias to arrive in spring of 2025. Color Genotype EEa2a1 non-grey
