It seems he is allowing the dam line to push color through while also substantially improving the fleece quality and uniformity across the blanket. This stunning girl was our farm's first venture into appaloosa genetics, and we couldn't be happier with her. She has amazing coverage from head to toe, bright and crimpy fiber, perfect compact conformation and a curious and confident attitude to go with it! Judge's comments at CABA 2017 "Beautiful hand and staple length. Nice compact frame, spirited female." She is one of only six female appaloosas produced by Billabong, and is certainly one of only a handful of harlequins sired by him. Julian is solid in color, but he may be carrying appaloosa genetics from his mother's side. He has three spots throughout his coat that are not affected by shots;. Two silver and 1 black spot tell me he is carrying harlequin. That still remains to be proven by his future offspring. Even without knowing for sure, nobody can deny his incredible lineage. His sire is none other than the 23x champion Ringo Cloud and his mother is the absolutely gorgeous Julz Gentleman out of Tazer and Patriotic Gentleman, a full sister to Apache Gentleman who is known for his ability to throw pattern consistently. He is extremely friendly and has no problem walking up even to strangers.
