Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose (Sizzy) is a simply divine light brown, male with extremely bright fleece, full of high-frequency high amplitude Mirco bundles, as well as carrying a very dense fleece with an amazing handle. Several of the top Judges have called him "The Total Package." With him being an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion & 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been breeding for us for several years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of improvement he has made to our herd.
In 2014, we consigned Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose to the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction (AAA) and he ended up selling for $90,000, making him the highest-selling Snowmass Matrix Rose offspring to date. He was sold to Daryl and Shirley Krause of Amber Autumn Alpacas in Oregon. A year later we ended up acquiring half ownership of Sizzy with both of us, Amber Autumn Alpacas and Red Granite Ranch, closing Sizzy to all outside breedings. Though his offspring will be offered at both ranches and depending on the year, some outside breedings may be offered.
We, Red Granite Ranch and Amber Autumn Alpacas are very happy to announce that Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose won the 2016 Huacaya Herdsire Of The Year, large breeder Division, as well as the 2017 Reserve Herdsire Of The Year Dark-colored offspring, large breeder Division.
Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose was mentioned in The American Alpaca Journal, Issue 2, January 2020 in the “Black Ring Demographics” where Sizzy appeared in the top five genetic contributors to the winning black groups in the 2018-19 black ring. Impressive indeed.
His ~150 Registered offspring have won around 134 championship banners and 4 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championships as of 2020.
Sizzy is the sire to RED GRANITES VAL D LSERE the 2016, 2017, and 2018 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championship winner & LIBERTY'S MANIFEST-DESTINY the 2020 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championship winner. 4/6 Dark Male Supreme Championship trophys have been sired by Sizzy, no other sire has accoplished this!!
Breeders hoping to produce high-class winners by Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose should consider sending him females from the CONOPA, LEGIONNAIRE, JERICHO, KIRWIN, or .38 SPECIAL line. Sizzy has sired four dark supreme championship trophy's from the Conopa/Jericho lines, including multiple champions from the Kirwin, .38 Special, Jericho, and Conopa lines all put together...
Sizzy is currently at Red Granite Ranch, contact us about breedings.

Description
Hummingbird's symbolize joy, healing, and good luck. Bring a little TRUE BLACK love into your herd with this young female...
Red Granites Hummingbird is a true good luck charm, her three-time champion wins and her perfect show record, along with her stunning crias stand this statement very true.
Her Sire, Champion Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been noticed as one of the top black producing males here in the United States, as well as one of the best producing males of champion colors here in the United States.
Her Dam, MFI Hathaway's Hideout is an exceptional black foundation dam, all of her crias have been true black or bay black colors and she has been bred to brown and black sires. Her first offspring, RGR Hercules (sired by LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight) was awarded the 2017 Futurity Black Male Reserve Champion banner as a 2-year-old male, almost 3-year-old. His 2016 micron test reads: 20.6, 3.8, 18.5, 1.5, 38.4, 19.6. Another bonus to this super-stud black female is 3/5 crias have been females, and when they are males they are champions. She is sired by MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite and by Hathaway Rose, an exception Black Peruvian Royal Forest daughter.
Hummingbird herself have has given birth to two crias, male and female. Her first progeny, Red Granites Hum Dinger (sired by Kiriwn) is a stunning white female with no dark fibers in her fleece. In 2021 her fleece tested at 24.3 microns with a 4.6 SD, as a 2-year-old. Hummingbird's second progeny, Red Granites Humming Hawk (sired by Red Granites McCoy) is a deep-dark brown male, possibly turning bay black. He is simply perfect and had a 2021 micron test that reads: 17.0, 3.9, 23.1, 0.5, 44.6, 16.8.
With reserved Hummingbird's two offspring for our program while also having her full-sister already locked into our foundation herd we feel safe releasing her to the world. We know that the search for black alpacas has been high in demand over the past few years, and we hope with offering a three-time champion black female by one of best black producing Herdsires in the country someone will jump at the oppourinity to improve their black/dark program. We offer Hummingbird with a non-transferable breeding to any unrelated herdsire we own.
