**Aug 2021 - and the solid blacks just keep on coming! Ben has been giving us incredible male and female offspring! This is an AWESOME addition to our herdsire lineup! **Update Sept 2020: Ben's first USA cria has hit the ground and we are extremely pleased with the jet black offspring! SCORE!! We are so thrilled we have added this male to our stable! ___________________________________ We are extremely pleased to have once again obtained multiple championship genetics from across the border. We were drawn to this male because he was: **CHAMPION BLACK MALE 2 YEARS IN A ROW AT THE LARGEST SHOW IN CANADA!!!** Oreo is a stunning male with dense, crimpy fibre and excellent staple organization throughout. He is unrelated to most of the top black sires in Canada and he is one of our top producers! His award winning offspring include: Arriba Ambrosia a 2x Reserve Black Champion Arriba Julianna - Reserve Black Champion at the Canadian Futurity Arriba Amplified - Reserve Black Champion Arriba Dahlia - Reserve Grey Champion Arriba Anita - Reserve Fawn Champion Arriba Amelio - 1st Place in White!!! Quality in every colour! Simply put, this quality male, is passing on the traits to offspring - and the genetic diversity he brings to the table is also a bonus. It is rare to find these impact males and we cannot wait to bring these genetics to our herd.

Description

*SOLD* Another stunning black offspring from Canadian import stud, Ben! Built strong and sturdy, just like the rest of the offspring we have seen stamped out, this young male is similar to what we have been seeing – but we can’t help but wonder if he is also getting a boost from his ancestry on his dam’s side as well. At a week old, he already had the full presence of an adult stud - something we love to see in the next generation. This young male, nick named “Benji” is a solid true black will coverage, uniformity, density and fineness – all on a strong and correct frame. He is well grown for his age and we can’t wait to see how he continues to develop. He is currently outpacing his older sibling, who took 1st at Nationals in the juvie black males, in frame and fiber characteristics. Certainly one to keep an eye on. Benji’s sire is a multiple champion pulled in from Canada. His dam is a stunning grey with ancestry that we scoured the West Coast for. This is what the next generation alpacas will have foundations to build upon – and we love it!
