Welcome Red Granites Pallaton to our herd! Purchased at the Amber Autumn Auction, Pallaton has grown into a beautiful male. From Reserve Champion at his 1st Canadian Show to Supreme Champion at his 2nd show. Pallaton was able to settle a few females easily at 2 years of age. The temperament on this boy is stellar and so is his fleece. High frequency super fine consistent fleece on a mid sized perfect frame. What more could you ask for? How about producing black? Yup, Pallaton's first cria was black! We are very pleased with the offspring that Pallaton has sired. His offspring from 2021 are some of the best produced here at KJ Alpacas. During the careful selection of our foundation herd, Charm was an obvious choice. She is just one of those females that has the "it" factor. She is perfectly proportioned with an exquisite head and a dark brown luxurious fleece. Charm has given us TWO exceptional coloured girls that are both CHAMPIONS!! After a year of rest, we bred Charm to Yukon Gold and she did not disappoint! We are thrilled with the arrival of her third cria, Dawson. An eye-catching fawn who has won our hearts and those of the judges! At 15 months, Dawson won male fawn CHAMPION and SUPREME CHAMPION at the Rockton World's Fair! Charm's 4th cria is a light brown boy out of our white herdsire Nyko. Once again, Charm is the perfect mother and Mac is a handsome fella!

You open up the fleece and it has a WOW! factor. The architecture, staple formation, the independent staples, the organisation, the uniformity and structure across the blanket is representative of an elite fleece. At the 2023 Alpaca Quebec International Fleece Show, One of a Kind received for his 3rd fleece, 84 points showing 24.5/25 for Finesse & Handle, 10/10 for lack of guard hair, 8.5/10 for crimp, 4.5/5 for density. Stunning fineness of secondaries and primaries throughout! One of a Kind is just that. ONE OF A KIND! He is a combination of the Xclipse's Belenis line with Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX. This combination resulted in a very uniform fleece with an SD 2.2 and 100% comfort. One of a Kind's 2022 SGS histogram also showed an SD below 3 at 2.7 and again 0% over 30. 2023 SGS histogram, that just came in, continues to show a very uniform results with just 0.1% >30 and an SD of 3.3 on a now working male. One of a Kind has a develop structured fleece, long, luxurious and buttery and received comments as "Good uniformity, crimp, brightness and OUTSTANDING!
