A 5-time banner winner, Tres is a large framed male with spot on conformation supporting a fleece that is dense, fine, and maintains an incredible handle for a 11-year old breeding male. How very impressive that this male is producing champions and exhibiting relevance to our industry’s gray community at the age of 11!! Tres is certainly passing these prepotent genetics on to his progeny. Examples include, Rosehaven’s Triple Threat, a gray male having won 23 banners and 4 Judges Choice awards; and a Tres girl that won the gray female Color Champion at the 2019 AOA International Fleece show. These are just two examples of the 87% of his offspring that have been shown and placed in the ribbons. Due to her birthday and the fact that we wanted to get her breeding career going, Electra was only shown briefly in her yearling campaign. I will never forget MAPACA when Electra came in as Reserve Champion to an A. L. Paca's girl.. Denise came and looked at Electra and screamed out "DOUG!! you gotta come look at this , we have to have this!!" Needless to say, we refused to sell and Electra went on to dominate with her offspring for years to come. We are very proud of this girl, and she has served us well. This girl is special and will be a home run producer for years to come! 2020 TVA Tres Equis cria now on the ground and lookin' good.... more to come on this one! After seeing the result of this year's Tres Equis breeding, KCF Thunderstruck, we bred Electra back to Tres ASAP for a repeat performance in 2021. Thunderstruck is stunning and we will create as many of these as possible!! 2021 cria is a girl named Ethereal. This little one is already exhibiting a beautifully bright and structured fleece. Although light fawn, this does not disappoint. We bet this bundle will be able to pass every color under the alpaca spectrum. Congrats to our wonderful friends and partners, Russell's Alpaca Acres on their acquisition of 1/2 interest in KCF Denali!! We are thrilled to have them join us in partnership on the handsome male! Can't wait to see his cria hitting the ground!!!! How can we not be pretty excited about a boy that comes from such royalty.... The dam is KCF Isla Saona, an 11 time champion From Captain Jack Sparrow and WAG Isis by Nexxus.. The sire, Jeremiah's Quatrain, sire of multiple champions for the last decade I believe. So this progeny not only has a lot to offer in his own right based on his fleece and impeccable conformation; but the genetics are just off the charts. Denali was only shown a few times as he was coming up due to his unique color classification. He has shown in both medium fawn and medium rose gray, and the judge's just can't make up their mind's. All they can agree on is the his fleece is stunning and deserving of high consideration if they could just figure it out.... In Fawn, he got dinged for white fibers and in gray, he got dinging for a fawn base. Oh, but now.... he has developed into a sure enough MRG male that will be a handful for the competition in the fall of 2020. And like clockwork, at his first show of 2020 BOOM! - Reserve Champion in the Buckeye Alpaca Show!! UPDATE July 2022!! Denali now has cria on the ground!! Here we go!!

Description

KCF Ethereal (Ether) is a beautiful young girl that we can't wait to see develop over the winter. She has an upright and alert presence that shows off her large and square frame. Her conformation is perfect as a juvi, and she will be a true standout in the pasture next spring. Ethereal's fleece is very fine, uniform, and consistent; and will compete very easily in light fawn although she is out of two gray parents. Her fleece structure is a high frequency, medium amplitude type that easily forms small 'matchstick' bundles. The staples have excellent length and her coverage is exceptional; she is going to be a fleece machine. Her dam is our KCF Electra, that has just been an absolute rock star in our gray program for years. KCF Star Spangled, KCF and 5C's Steel Magnolia, KCF Ella Ella, and KCF Thunderstruck are among the absolute Bombs she has dropped for us. And with Ether's top half being covered with the one and only TVA Tres Equis, we have no reason to believe that Ether will not be another gem. Tres is the sire of so many champions that I can't cover them all here, but let's just say Ether has the goods to be the best of both her parent's worlds.... and being a light fawn out of two grays makes her a very flexible girl in any program. She is going to be able to cover every color on the AOA chart for sure, but for her maiden voyage, we are going for the gray! Her service sire is KCF Denali, our stealth gray man out of Quatrain. He just put a stunning gray boy on the ground and we think he is up for a repeat performance with Ethereal.
