Snowmass Blue Luxury has a stunningly gentle presence and a quiet attitude beneath a fleece of luxurious, black fiber. Snowmass Blue Luxury's 2019 histogram had him at 23.4 microns with a comfort factor of 98.1, 1.9% of fibers above 30% and an 'oily' black, crimpy fleece that makes him all the more loveable. He is black to the skin and beyond on his blanket, with a wonderful sheen that makes it look oily-silky when opened, though as with many black alpacas, he is starting to show a touch of gray along his head.

Hanwachipi (Night Dancer) is our gorgeous true black female who has an awesome mellow presence, conformation and large, intelligent eyes that give her a calmness that she has been imparting on the farm to those around her Han has a slow outlook on life, except when there's food around and then she moves a bit faster than normal. She is mellow....very mellow, and usually the last up to the pen, with a slow lope and curious ears. She is a rarity, in that she can be haltered, trailered, go thru herd health, be in the pasture or anywhere and she always commands the eye to be drawn to her. She knows how to pose She's a rarity...not a speck of brown on her, even on her undersides or her tail, and is pure black in the sunlight, and so far she's produced two black cria when bred to black. Her calm disposition she passed on the Toothless, her first cria, and her second is already learning to be patient and doze in the sun Hanwachipi delivered a gorgeous true black female cria on Sept 18, 2021 with a stunning face and bright eyes. Hanwachipi's done it again. Bred to Snowmass Blue Luxury (aka Little Blue) she's given us another stunning cria, a crow-black female with the most curious little nose. She was 14.8 lb when she was born without any problems, and she found Han's plumbing system quickly and has been enjoying it immensely and sharing it with none She is very curious about the world around her, still learning and not afraid to be a bit away from her mother, Han, though when startled she will streak back to mom's side for protection, while her mother gives her "the look" and wonders what the fright was Three weeks and 21.8lb, she's growing each day & a beautiful, inky black in the sun. Now, at almost three months, she's just a cottonball of black floof and motion. She will simply stand in the pen and stare at you as if you have not shown her the proper respect and adoration due her, and when she moves on, she gives a flick of her head as if to say "carry on" to you. She's very much the show off Here at 7 months, she's growing and has a dynamic, black fleece and a lovely form. She is very dainty and feminine, enjoying a good run around the pen and those ears listening everywhere. She's almost 60 pounds, weaned, and growing well still
