RKR's LITTLE ABE is out of Medium Silver Grey My Sunshine Sally and multi-champion classic Medium Silver Grey WLK Silver Threads. Sally is the only Grey offspring out of MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous. Silver Threads has passed away. He was well known for consistently producing grey when bred to grey. Silver Threads was full Peruvian and had a pedigree with every alpaca on it being either rose grey or silver grey. Overall, you will find at least one grey Suri in each of the 4 previous generations of Abe’s pedigree making him a 5th generation grey male. So far all that grey in his pedigree is siring a lot of grey as he is 3 for 4 for siring grey and the three females that have their crias registered were a rose grey, a fawn, and it was the true black that didn't produce a grey. That cria was true black. He also had another cria out of silver grey that was grey, but hasn't been registered. Abe has wonderful confirmation and a dense, lustrous, silver grey blanket. The locks are more of an open lock structure that hand spinners love, it is showing great staple length growth, and the fiber has a wonderful cool handle to it. At 15 months of age a quick test was done on his fleece and came back with an AFD of 21.9 microns and a SD of 5.4. A sample was sent in for a full fiber test from his first shearing at age 2 and the histogram results were good. An average fiber diameter of 23.1 microns with a standard deviation of 5.3 microns. Another fleece sample was submitted at age 3 to be part of the AOA's EPDs and Abe is maintaining his fineness pretty well. The results on that histogram were slightly better with an AFD of 22.9 microns and a SD of 5.1. The EPD rankings can be seen by clicking on the EPDs link. Ian Watt Skin Biopsy at 31 months (see the 3rd picture): Density - 66.5 follicles/sq mm S/P Ration - 9.6:1 SAFD - 21.6 microns, SD of 2.7 microns PAFD - 25.5 microns, SD of 3.2 microns S to P Spread - 3.9 microns The density and the secondary to primary spread are both outstanding!

MMALP JET'S CARA

AOA# 35274490DOB: 5/22/20159 yrs
MMALP Jet's Cara was sired BRKRD Goldstar's Jet. Jet is a son of the outstanding herdsire Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has 20 Get of Sire wins to his name including 3 at Nationals, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. I am sure 7 time banner winner Jet was a part of a few of those Goldstar Get of Sire wins. With Jet's excellent EPD rankings, his density of 66.96 follicles/sq mm, his great S/P ratio of 11.6 to 1, and a good S to P spread of only 7.3 microns, Jet is producing champion offspring himself now. He sired the 2018 AOA Nationals Light Male Supreme Champion, Jet's Dominion, and has 4 Get of Sire wins himself, including 1 at Nationals and 1 at The Futurity. Jet's pedigree is loaded with the names of many great herdsires besides Goldstar. The names include Torbio, Rockstar, Jackpot, Ramilo, Major Jax, Baron, Saber, Bruxo, MacGyver, and Uribe. Wow! He's a genetic powerhouse and of course, it is not just the males in his pedigree as there are many championship females in it, too. We also need to give Cara's dam a lot of credit for producing such a nice female. Her dam is Supersuris Maximum Reflection. Maximum Reflection was a 2 time banner winner and came from an outstanding breeding program. As her name indicates, she brings the luster to her offspring and Cara has excellent luster. Putting Maximum Reflection and Jet together has produced an outstanding Suri in Cara. Cara was a 4 time banner winner, she has a great phenotype, and her fleece has all the attributes one expects in an outstanding Suri fleece including that aforementioned luster. Cara has produced three beautiful crias so far. On August 27, 2018, she had a beautiful brown female sired by WI Limited Edition. On August 30, 2019. she had an outstanding white male sired by our herdsire Black Beau's Comet. Unfortunately, some coyotes got that boy and his spectacular fleece. On July 19, 2021, she had a black male sired by the grey male RKR's Little Abe. He has a beautiful fleece, and it has luster to spare. On June 17, 2023, she had a fawn male sired by MMALP Micah. He has a beautiful fleece and potential. On July 11, 2024, Cara had a 19.6 lb female cria sired by Aragorn. She is either dark brown or bay black. Besides having a great phenotype, her fleece is lustrous, silky, and organized.

Description

ANDACAL's Caeleb was sired by the classic grey herdsire that we owned until 2021 named RKR's Little Abe. Abe is a two time champion. He is out of Medium Silver Grey My Sunshine Sally and multi-champion classic Medium Silver Grey WLK Silver Threads. Caeleb is black, but he has a lot of championship grey genetics in the top of his pedigree. Now, it isn't all just about the sire when discussing the outstanding genetics in Caeleb's pedigree. His dam MMALP Jet's Cara is one well bred Suri, too! Cara's dam is Lovely Lucille and she produces banner winners the majority of the time. Cara won 4 banners herself. Cara's sire is BRKRD Goldstar's Jet. Jet has sired a National Supreme Champion and has Get Of Sire wins at both the AOA National Show and The Futurity. And Jet's sire is Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. He's produced multiple champions and Judge's Choice winners. Goldstar has 20 Get of Sire wins and 7 of them have been at the biggest halter and fleece shows. All in all Caeleb's dam is the result of putting a male that has prepotent genetics that are siring champions together with a female that's producing them. The common theme found in Caeleb's pedigree is champion. Caeleb has an exemplary Suri phenotype like a lot of Suris that have Goldstar in their pedigree. His fleece is fine, is organized, has great staple, has good density, and is very lustrous. In fact, it's more than very lustrous. Caeleb's fleece is downright dripping with luster. Time will tell how he does in the show ring, but right now we feel he shows all the signs of a future black herdsire. The great thing about him is that we feel he will also have the ability to sire greys. We can't wait to see what the future holds in store for this boy.
