Outstanding Black Beau son! He displays amazing fineness and luster!!! Salvo has started his yearling show career off with a first place at RAC in October 2016. This young herdsire has developed nicely over the summer and he will do well in the ring but more importantly will carry the legacy of his sire, Black Beau. He went on to win 7 total banners in halter and fleece competitions. If you are looking for a top notch herdsire with genetics on top of Black Beau and on the bottom....wow - Inca, Apache, Gracie!! SPAR's Torbio's Magdalena has done it again giving us another outstanding cria in 2012. SPAR's Vicki's Sweetie Pea is white out of a black sire, Cinders. Sweetie Pea's dam, Magdalena is strong for producing white, obviously even when bred to black. Sweetie Pea is one of the most high quality white suris we have had at Raynay. She is a show quality white female that will be fun to breed with the color that her sire brings into the picture. Sweetie Pea lives up to her name having a sweeter than sweet disposition. Sweetie Pea has 2 champion half siblings, SPAR's Peak Perfection and SPAR's MacLuster's Ginger Mist. Like her siblings, Sweetie Pea has a very fine fleece with excellent uniformity. Check out her impressive histogram results. Her biopsy is now in as well!!! WOW!!!! She is confirmed pregnant by Eldora's Tempo by Rockstar. Biopsy report by Dr. Evans: “Sweetie Pea” was biopsied as a 23 month old white suri female with ARI# 32573794. Her fiber clusters are uniform in placement. Her density is 61.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and her S/P ratio is 8.7 to 1. Notice on the S/P and 250x scans that less than 10% of her secondary fibers show medullation which is unique and should result in excellent handle. She shows 2 of 4 glands. One hundred secondary fibers average 21.1 microns while 50 primary fibers average 29.1 microns for a variation of 8.0 microns. This girl shows extremely strong fiber stats. (Top 1%)

Description

This sweet girl has been sold but still resides in North Carolina. Congratulations Carolina Sunshine Alpacas!! Her first shearing knocked it out of the park, she was crowned 2022 AOA National Fawn Suri Color Champion!! Kissie's dam is a National Judge's Choice (prior to Supreme Award) coming up from the white class, SPAR's Vicki's Sweetie Pea. But Sweetie Pea's sire is Herdsire of the Year, Cinders from Ricochet Ranch, the amazing True Black Herdsire. So we paired Sweetie Pea with MMALP Beau's Salvo in hopes of a dark (really wanted black) offspring. Mainly for the fact that Salvo's sire is the True Black Champion Herdsire out of the Parkview Alpaca breeding program, Black Beau of PVA. We can't be too disappointed because we got a healthy, robust, medium fawn female that will make her show debut at the Carolina Alpaca Celebration mid-February. Kissie has tight curls around her face and tons of fleece on a conformationally sound frame. She has her dam's personality and we hope her outstanding fleece characteristics to boot!
