PATAGONIA'S EL GALAN Patagonia’s El Galan has an elegant, soft handle, buttery fleece, and is a strong-boned pure white herdsire that has recently had drop dead crias hit the ground. It is nice to finally select the right breedings for this magnificent male to see his full potential as a sire of champions. El Galan’s progeny truly remind me of what his sire, Patagonia’s Cayo, looked like when he was a juvenile. El Galan’s dam, Patagonia’s Fantasma, has a show record of her own, and is on our foundation herd. El Galan has a nice stature, very crimpy fleece that is remaining soft, bright, and silky. This sire is definitely passing on these wonderful characteristics to his progeny with bundling, beautiful structure, uniformity of micron count and color in their fleece, adding dense, dense fleece and staple length. During the 2017 show season, his stunning juvenile crias have received Color Champion, Reserve Champion, and Blue and Red ribbons.
