**Update Summer 2022: Romeo's first cria has hit the ground and it is a spitting image of him! A bright white perfect robust male. No complaints when the males look like this one! Introducing Xanadu's Ravello - aka "Romeo" as he is known around the barn. A stunning color champion WHITE male from an exceptional program, this male comes with not only his own credentials, but also has the backing of his top shelf champion ancestors. Ravello caught my attention for many reasons - his presence, correct conformation, true-to-type overall "curb appeal", and calm temperament speak for themselves. His fleece has the exact characteristics one looks for when choosing herd sires - exceptional uniformity, fineness, architecture, brightness all rolled into one package. The icing on the cake was ancestry here - Ravello has amazing parents that should not be overlooked and demand to be factored into any breeding decisions. His sire, TGF Royal Tribute, carries his own line of royalty from Snowmass Royal Challanger. But power dam, Xanadu P Filigree is what truly caught my attention - a champion herself, everything she produces turns to gold. Pay attention folks...SHE is a gem. Pluie is a correct and generally friendly female. She delivered a super friendly male cria, Sanssouci’s Chaussee who won color champion at NWSS 2023 and 1st at GWAS. She has a faint shoulder spot (not in her blanket) that is useful in telling her apart from the others but is light enough to still be dyed. She is very observant and is considered the lookout of the group, first to alarm call at a fox or deer on the property. She has a sweet face and is always nibbling on something! She is a WHA Aramis (Sunset Hills Golden Thunder son) daughter out of a Maple Brook Barnabus dam. She is currently open and ready to breed.
