Viola has the best of two worlds. He has a regal and ever-watchful bearing, a large frame, with good, straight conformation, a model temperament, spectacular fleece characteristics, & a Champion lineage to match. His dense fleece is soft, fine and crimpy, with a well-defined lock structure. At the age of 20 months, Viola was ready to start his breeding career, and so, we are expecting his first crop of crias in Spring 2012!! In 2010, he was appraised by both Jude Anderson and Amanda VandenBosch. They said: "This young male has a good head, a well-balanced frame, and a good bite. His fleece displays good staple length, has a very nice handle, and an even medium rose grey blanket." His sire, SNOWMASS PERUVIAN CASANOVA has arguably produced more Champion Offspring than any other Gray Breeding Male in North America! High seller at the 2002 Celebrity Futurity Auction, Casanova was sold for an amazing $147,000! In 2003, Casanova took home the prestigious Futurity Herdsire of the Year honors for his outstanding offspring. In 2005, his son-Snowmass Nova took home the Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year, and then in early 2006, was sold for a mind-blowing $300,000!!! That was the first time a sire and his progeny have won this prestigious award!! Then, there is Casanova's sire--PERUVIAN BUENO. Bueno's accomplishments and award winning cria are so numerous, it is impossible to list them all. Picked as the #1 choice by three of the country's leading Alpaca breeders, this super Peruvian Macho was the high-selling Alpaca at the 1994 Spring Celebrity Sale. Bueno has also produced more "Get of Sires" than any male in the country - he is simply legendary. On Viola's OTHER side, there is first his dam: PV ROCKFORD'S RHAPSODY, out of AUSSIE ROCKFORD and FABIA OF STAR HILL (out of the top west coast grey herdsire--FANTASY'S GREMLIN & a maroon dam. Her offspring won numerous blue ribbons as well.). In 2008, Rhapsody took a Blue Ribbon in Yearling Grays at the Heart of the Valley in Halter and a 3rd in a competitive class at CABA. Then, there is the famed Silver Gray half-Accoyo AUSSIE ROCKFORD, out of Legendary Accoyo PPERUVIAN FELIX--who was known to throw a wide range of colors and fine fleeces, champions and high selling alpacas--& HANNAHRUH--who's every cria was an award winner or color champion, including the well-known Painted Sky Apres Vous, Aussie Colorado Dillinger, and Aussie Rockford. Aussie Rockford has won ribbons all over the country, in every show he has been in. Of his 186 registered offspring, almost 80% are either black or gray out of dams of varying colors. All of his amazing attributes, he passed onto Viola. As you can see, with this male comes extraordinary potential. What would a Casanova offspring do to enhance your sales list? Thank you Mother Earth Alpacas for choosing Viola for breedings!!

And they did it again!!! Buttery fleece shining with luster. Density. Straight confirmation. Easy-going and inquisitive. Incredible genetics. These words describe Rose to a T. Packed jam full of the amazing quality genetics of Hemingway, Snowmaster, Snowmass Incaaccoyo Star & Acero Marka's Rockamundo, plus her splendid density & fineness, Rose is the perfect pick to add these rare genetics to your herd. Her dam, Hemingway's Naomi shows incredible fineness: Though her first 2 shearings (when she was being boarded) weren't the most impressive (AFD of 20 and 21.4, respectively), look what it has been ever since!: 3rd year: 18.7; 5th year: 18.2; 6th year: 19.5; and 7th year: 18.7!!!! Her sire-the award-winning Snowmass Snow Legend had an AFD of whopping 14.4 (year 1); 18.8 (year 3); 20.7 (year 5); & 21.6 (year 8). Her siblings show the same: Love: 17.7 (year 1); 19.8 (year 2); 18.4 (year 3) Daisy: 1 year: 16.9; 2nd year: 16.3; 3rd year: 16.5 Reflection: 18.3 (year 1); 17.5 (year 2) Her breeding to Grazing Hills Lexington (Accoyo America Diomedes x Grazing Hills Lydia) produced a gorgeous brown son-Legacy! Lexington brings an incredible lineage with him, including some of the most notable imports (Hemi-Accoyo Nautilus, Caligula, Cimarron Gold Legend --out of Mountain Gold x Snowmass Passion Flower--, Grazing Hills Knightly --out of Ppperuvian Cahuide and Midnight Express, to name a few) and his fleece definitely showed it!! (2nd Shearing: 17.0, 2.7, 15.9, 0.6 and 3rd Shearing: 18.7, 3.6, 19.3, 1.0) Her second breeding to Silver Spoon Viola who has a regal and ever-watchful bearing, a large frame, with good, straight conformation, a model temperament, soft, fine, crimpy fleece, & a Champion lineage to match. The match produced a beautiful white male, Maestro, who had 19.4 micron count at 2 years old, and has shown many of the incredible characteristics of both his parents. Her third breeding to Rockford Royal Tintinnabulum, a son of Snowmass Reminiscence, produced a gorgeous golden brown male in 2019, Cuivre, who had incredible dense, popcorn fleece with a 16.8 micron count at first shearing.

Description

Inquisit is a handsome, sweet boy. He is gentle, curious and mellow. His fleece is long and dense, with a nice crimp. He is not a breeder, but would make a fantastic addition as a fiber male for your herd.
