MODERN ROSE GRAY!!!

4-Sight's Hobart

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Rose Grey
DOB: 9/28/20177 yrs
THIS BOY SHOCKED US! When he was born, he was a very yucky brown color, and I immediately put him in pet class. Never in my wildest dreams would I have believed he would turn gray. BUT HE DID! He is now a gorgeous dark rose gray! In fact, he reminds me of a truffle -- rich, dark underneath and a dusting of cocoa on the outside! And he's growing in more grey! He is stacked with super gray genetics on both sides and sired by A Paca Fun's Sonic Shift, who is making quite an impact with his offspring. Touting quite impressive scores on his fleece at the AOA Nationals and placing 2nd to the color champion. 4.5 out of 5 for uniformity of length, 18 out of 20 for fineness and handle, 8.5 out of 10 for uniformity of micron, 8.5 out of 10 for absence of guard hair and 9 out of 10 for crimp 4 out of 5 for staple density, All numbers that we are super proud of!! Also check out his incredible histogram! This boy is ready to breed and make an impact on your program!!!

BEAUTIFUL MODERN GRAY

4-Sight's Precious Heart

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Rose Grey
AOA# 35095552DOB: 2/13/20195 yrs
Precious Heart was another Sonic Shift surprise for us. She was born brown with lovely brightness and a very soft handle. I did not think she would turn gray, but she did. She is now a smokey brown modern gray She is phenotypically beautiful with lots of coverage on her head and down to her toes. We liked her full brother so much that we repeated the breeding and we are just as pleased with Precious Heart. Her dam is holding a low micron of at 21.11 with an SD of 4 .27 and CV 19.9 at 5 and a half years old -- a trait we really appreciate. Her sire is knocking it out of the park by improving every dam he has covered! Precious Heart gave us our first "oops cria", a stunning black female. We wish some of our planned breedings would turn out so good. Oopsy Daisy as we call her is a un intentional line breed. Her sire is 4-Sight's Hobart, another modern rose gray with excellent uniformity of micron, density and a lovely crimp style. She will be joining our show string! She is now bred to the famous Emerald Farm's Orlando Cloud for a June of 2022 cria!

4-Sight's Outa Sight

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 35445326DOB: 6/22/20195 yrs
2024 Futurity Herdsire of the year (small breeder) Outa Sight is...well Outa Sight! . His show record speaks for itself. His conformation is impeccable, his demeanor beautiful. He confirmed his first pregnancy with one shot at just shy of 24 months of age! We cannot say enough about this young male. I may mention that he was not even in my consideration to show at 6 months of age. He was born black, I was hoping for gray and he was well just kind of boring...proving my own saying "you just never know about these animals", he sure proved me wrong! Just look at him now...WOW! Genotype Ee, a3 a3 2021 Biopsy results: Density: 64.9 /mm Secondary:Primary fiber ratio: 10.0:1 From Ian Watt, Alpaca Consulting USA "Good density supported by two excellent SD numbers and a desirable population differential of less than 4 microns. These are good numbers for a black huacaya male about to start his breeding career."

Description

Oopsy Daisy was our first oops cria. Meaning a breakout that we were unaware of. There were a few males in there and luckily we were thrilled with the male of her dams choosing, 4-Sight's Hobart. Oopsy Daisy has a very fine and uniform zipper crimp fleece with a long staple. Check out her picture. She is an unintentional line breed that worked out like line breeds are intended, a good leap in quality. We are very pleased with Daisy and thankful for the breeding. Daisy is black but with her genetics she wants to be modern gray, displaying enough white and gray fibers in her blanket to ding her in the show ring in a black class. For this reason she only showed once. Daisy is phenotypically correct in all ways. She has a compact frame a very nice head and loads of coverage. She is bred to 13 x champion 4_sight's Outa Sight for a spring 23 cria.
