With our partners, Lori Kramer of Full Tilt Alpacas and Linda Brown of Linda's Alpacas, we are pleased to introduce the newest addition to our lineup of silver grey studs, JanusAspen Cataldo Steel. As the name implies, his sire is none other than US Steel. Cataldo carries forward his sire's fine, dense fleece which displays brightness and a high frequency crimp uniformally throughout his blanket and beyond with consistent fiber bundles. Cataldo has a well developed top knot, short muzzle, correct bite, balanced gate with correct conformation, and a uniform dark silver grey blanket with minimal spotting. Included in his pedigree are Snowmass Enlightened, Snowmass Blue Epic, Snowmass Silver Star, Snowmass Xxxtreme, Pperuvian Victor, Danko, Aussie 38 Special, Rayo Del Sol, US Steel and Snowmass Enlightenment. Cataldo's 24 month histogram: MFD 18.3, SD 4.2, CV 23.0, %>30 0.8 Cataldo has started breeding and is available for breeding services in Northeastern Ohio. Please contact us to schedule one of his 10 introductory breedings. His first cria is on the ground, a rose grey female... if you are wondering what Cataldo can produce you have to see this cria!

Description

Cataldo's Beloved is a lovely true black female with unique markings. She has the classic silver grey pattern but her blancket is true black. Her dam is Silver Sovereign's Sabrina, who is true black, and sire is JanusAspen Cataldo Steel, our silver grey stud out of US Steel. Beloved has a beautiful head and her fleece is very dense and full of consistent character from head to tail! Her dam, Sabrina, won color champion at the 2013 Buckeye Alpaca Show. Her fleece was like a Suri, super bright with thick hanging locks which is often called the "silky style" fleece.
