He took his his 3rd Get blue ribbon at the ’09 Great Western Show with 3 perfect juveniles, Xanadu P. Cachet, Xanadu P. Mistral and Xanadu P. Encanto. The little “cookie cutter” trio went on to win “Breeder’s Best as well. Amazing Fleece! We were delighted to be able to purchase this remarkable herdsire at the AAA Futurity Auction in 2004, and are pleased to be standing him in West Virginia. He has the best one year micron we’ve ever seen: 12.8 mic; 2.6 SD, 20.4< & 0.3% + 30 microns at 2 years of age its 16.5 mic, 3.0SD, 18.2CV and 0.3% + 30 mic, and at 4 years of age, after 2 years of breeding, it's a wonderful 19 mic., 3.6 SD, 18.9 CV, 99.5 CF and a CRV of 53.2. Not only is his fleece fine, it was loaded with character, completely uniform throughout the blanket and thoroughly bundled. This boy is the son of PVA Wellington, who is an Accoyo Augusto son, and he has lots of color in his background, too. He now has over 50 crias on the ground, and they're breath-taking and always carry fine fleece. Siena is a 12 year old Eastwind’s Snowstorm daughter out of a Show Me the Money dam. She received 1st place at all her shows and Color Champion at National Western Stock Show. She is proven and has had 4 normal births, 3 males, 1 female. Her offspring that were shown were in the ribbons and one, Sanssouci’s Array, won a Championship. Her fiber at 12 years still maintains brightness and distinct crimp. Her last histogram showed an AFD of 25.1 and a CV of 18.3. She is open and ready to be bred. Siena is definitely the matriarch of our herd, she is tall, stately, correct and attractive. She could be the picture next to "alpaca" in the dictionary. She has amazing fiber, excellent conformation, a fantastic temperament and an adorable big brown spot just above her tail. She is always looking out for all the other alpacas, whether that's sniffing my ear to be sure I'm friendly, calling out to alert the herd to a deer, or leading the way into the barn at bedtime.
