Silver Elation is a rare dilute silver gray with an incredibly soft, well bundled and consistent fleece without any spots that is so dense, it feels like a heavy carpet. This male was born with a distinct Classic Silver Gray pattern which all but disappeared as his fiber dried. Every person who has seen him has been impressed by this amazing fleece that appears platinum in color with white in the neck, bib, face and legs. When we took him to two shows in 2008, he was put into an indefinite class which did not allow him to show appropriately but he still won the Blue Ribbons in those VERY competitive classes. WOW! Amaya's silky True Black fleece shows the nice tight crimpy architecture that you would expect from the genetic package she carries. With Patagonia's Danko, Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol, and Emerald Farm's Rincon Cloud from her sire's side and Peruvian Bueno, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova and Request The Best from her dam's side, you can expect her to be a producer of high quality gray or black offspring. Although she is true black, she has strong grey bloodlines behind her. Her sire is light silver multi-champion Emerald Farm's Rincon Cloud, who is extremely typey and has taken top awards in fiber and halter competitions, including Get of Sire, time after time. He has US Steel/Royal Steel bloodlines with plenty of grey in his background, making him ideal for a grey program looking to add fineness and phenotype, with a fairly free of spots grey fleece.
