AHarmony's Espiritu de Tequila

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White

Espiritu de Tequila (ET) is the ideal alpaca in so many ways. He is perfectly put together from head to toe: perfect proportions, perfect bite and jaw with nice square nose, straight legs with heavy bone, and then you get to his fleece. Wow, the density! On top of that is excellent shoulder to hip to belly uniformity with a well-defined crimp style and fantastic fineness. ET's first histogram: AFD 14.5 microns. His second fleece: AFD 18.3 microns, SD 4.0 with only 1.1% >30. Did I mention the density? His fleece makes my heart skip a beat. It is highly valued for processing every year given the weight, grade, and especially the length. And by the way, the gorgeous crimp goes all the way down his legs and belly. ET is producing both white and color. He is passing a lovely conformation and impressive fleece characteristics. His dam, Sweet Pines Baja, has proven to be an extremely valuable producer. She is consistently producing stud-quality boys. Her show career brought a blue ribbon in halter and reserve champion in fleece. Her elite Peruvian genetics include PPeruvian Victor, PPPeruvian Augusto, and PPPeruvian El Moustachio. ET's sire, MSA Peruvian Tequila Sunrise, also had a highly successful show career in his youth. Tequila Sunrise is the son of MSA Hemingway's Tequila and grandson of PPeruvian Hemingway and PCA Accoyo El Nino. Also included in those elite Peruvian bloodlines are PPeruvian Caligula and PPeruvian Vengador. Tequila Sunrise had a first fleece AFD of 12.9 microns! And his descendants are winning top awards including Championships in the show ring.

Service Sire: Daytona's Nocino

black national Color Champion

Daytona's Nocino

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Bay Black
AOA# 35237709DOB: 6/25/20177 yrs
Nocino's first cria is here and he is a handsome little guy! Much darker than his dam - true black! A fantastic head and quite healthy. His second cria is also darker than her dam with incredible density and such vigor. In fact, her fleece is something to behold - a creamy beige with intense brightness! Daytona's Nocino is a junior herdsire with an "Advanced Fleece". He has won top awards, including black male Color Champion at the 2019 AOA National Fleece Show and Judge's Choice from the AAWO Spin-Off. Nocino produces truly amazing fleeces each year (over 6 lbs of blanket!). The density with across blanket uniformity is above and beyond. Nocino's sire, multi-champion Crescent Moon's Daytona, consistently produced a high percentage of black offspring along with other beautiful colors like maroon and grey. He passed his incredible density and uniformity to offspring along with a well-balanced conformation. Plus he and his offspring are holding their fineness year after year. Nocino's dam, AHarmony's Juliaetta, is a top ribbon winner with her fleece as well, with a fineness of 19.2 microns at 4 years of age and only 1.4% over 30. She has wonderful bone substance and a stunningly beautiful head. Her genetics hold depth in fineness (Rico Suave and Victor), and strong color including black and grey. She is producing truly advanced offspring.

Description

Sweet Pines Qvale is an outstanding female from elite Peruvian lines that have established fineness in the top 10% of the national herd. EPDs = Top 10% in AFD (fineness) and MC (crimp) along with Top 15% in SF (spin fineness) & MSL (mean staple length)! This girl is going to produce a fleece with unbelievable fineness and ample length year after year. And her offspring are likely to do the same. Qvale's dam, Sweet Pines Matadora, has replaced her dam as one of our foundation females. Matadora's fleece carries exceptional brightness, length, and fineness, along with fantastic density. Her conformation is correct and she is a great producer/mom. Matadora's sire, San Simeon Suave has EPDs in the top 5% for fineness! He is one of the finest herdsires we have seen and was a good match for our Springs. Qvale's sire, Espiritu de Tequila (ET), has that ideal alpaca look with square, well balanced conformation, and a very pleasing head. ET's first fleece was 14 microns! Plus he has the density to produce a heavy but wonderfully soft fleece - just exactly what we are looking for. Qvale is conformationally correct in all aspects and has inherited her sire's teddy bear head. In 2021, we bred Qvale to Daytona's Nocino, a champion bay black sire. They produced a wonderfully charismatic beige daughter, Sweet Pines Tatra. Her fleece is dense, long, and crimpy, and oh so fine. Qvale had more than ample milk for her and was a very attentive mother. We were so pleased with the outcome of this breeding that we did it again for a 2025 cria!
