HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn, Medium Fawn

Congratulations to A Paca Fun Farm for your purchase of this exceptional girl!
Both of her parents are National Fleece Champions!
Sire was the AOBA Black National Fleece Champion last year -
Dam was an AOBA Brown National Fleece Champion (she is a Dark Brown).
Click on their names above for more info.
Deltana may be fawn - but she's genetically a lot darker than most of the alpacas she showed against. Looking for a girl with superb fleece for your dark program? She'll fit right in.
Deltana is a very special girl - extreme uniformity, fineness and gorgeous lustrous locks.
She is very smart and the first to climb in the feed bucket when it dinner time.
Excellent conformation and a solid little girl.
But her fleece is what we just adore -
LOVE this SD and CV - so rare on a fleece this fine.
(8 mos old: AFD 17.3 / SD 2.7 / CV 15.7 / 0.2% >30).
Her dad is bay black Zeppelin of the "traffic stopping fleece" (see his Awesome Stats on his page) - her mom is a National (dark) Brown Fleece Champion, Avatar daughter, Appeline. Appeline has the distinction of having the most uniform fleece on the farm (based upon SD), Appeline's 9 mo. old histogram was 17.7 / 2.3 / 13.0 / 0.4% >30.
At her only halter showing as a juvenile, Deltana placed 3rd in a very competitive class of 14 light fawn girls at 2013 GWAS. Helen Humphries loved her fineness and fleece style, which she mentioned exhibited traits associated with very dense fleeces. She also mentioned her solid and correct frame. Add in her dark color genetics (which don't count in the show ring!) and Deltana is simply a superb part of any breeding program.
