Silverton proved that size could also be beautiful; he stood above the rest! Silverton was a large medium silver grey animal with perfect tuxedo markings, white socks on each leg and eyelashes "to die for". He was known for his perfect conformation. Silverton had plenty of dense fiber recognized for its brightness and fineness. Even at age 6 he produced almost 5 1/2 pounds of fleece which still measured 28.5 microns. Silverton was prolific siring 22 cria of all colors, but he became known for siring silver grey cria when paired with true black females. His amazing EPD is rated in the top 15%.

Elise Kristine

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 31715034DOB: 8/7/200816 yrs
Elise has Peruvian, Chilean and Bolivian heritage, though she is 11/16 Chilean. Elise brings genetics to the party from Drambuie, Mr. Know-It-All and Money Maker through her sire's bloodline. Her bloodlines include all colors of animals and are strong in both grey and rose grey. Her grandparents were award winners on both sides of the family. Like her sire's, Elise's fleece has wonderful handle and crimp, thus is superb for use in all kinds of textiles. Her conformation is "typey" Chilean. Elise is proven dam who was a good mother to her 2014 cria, Pixie. Unfortunately she lost a lip when a guard dog thought it was defending the newborn Pixie, so Elise is now a solid foundation animal. She would be a great addition to any herd today!

Description

Pixie certainly lives up to her name. She is a real sprite, always full of energy and playful. Her heritage is strongly Chilean (slightly greater than 75%). And Pixie carries championship genetics from both sides of the family, most notably from the Drambuie line, as well as from several other award winning ancestors. In 1993 Drambuie was one of the more reknowned alpacas in the first group imported to the United States. Her typically Chilean conformation is great. Pixie's beautiful white fleece, like her dam's, has wonderful handle and crimp, thus is superb for use in all kinds of textiles. The distinctive black line near each of eyes makes Pixie easy to recognize in the paddock. Take advantage of her availability and enhance the gene pool of your herd by making Pixie part of your breeding stock!
