Maya's vicunya-like qualities - delicate legs and facial features, very fine fleece and coloring - made her special! She was beautiful. At age 2 1/2 her fleece measured 19.1 microns. The handle, brightness and low amplitude, high frequency crimp of her brown sugar colored fleece was recognized by fleece show judges and fiber sorters alike. Maya was a sweetheart who easily interacted with people. She was the best mamma, and grandma, our herd ever had; always attentive and alert. A descendant of Macho Fawn, she continued to pass great genetics on to 3 subsequent generations in our herd. Maya was a favorite who is sorely missed.

Description

Lamby is a lot of fun to be around! She was named for a sock puppet. She loves to dig for the good hay. Her most interesting habit is to rub the ground with a stiff piece of hay or small stick back and forth for long stretches of time, apparently massaging her palette. Lamb Chop also integrates very well with the rest of our girls herd. Her brilliant white fleece has a low amplitude, high frequency crimp and a wonderful handle. It spins into fabulous yarns for use in textile products. Lamb Chop's ancestry includes show winners such as Macho Fawn HST G451, Peruvian Seeds of Gold G213 and other superb animals. She is ready now to help you build your herd into something great!
