Hanapepe's sire Pucara Kahuna wowed them winning two Get of Sire's at AWE 2007 and the IAO 2007 plus third at the Nationals. His cria won ribbon after ribbon.He swept the 2008 Nationals production classes with his kids winning get of Sire, Breeders Best Three, along with Male and Female Bred and Owned Yearlings. He won the Nationals Get in 2009 plus the Futurity Light herdsire of the Year. Hanapepe won a third ribbon at AWE 2007, a fifth ribbon at The 2007 Futurity and as he got some size to him he came in second at the Nationals to our Pucara Herradurra. He went on to win first and champion at the Futurity in 2008 and won white male champion at the 2008 Nationals. He is the style of suri that will get better with age. He displays all the desired suri traits in abundance...extreme greasy luster, even solid locking and a typical knock them dead Kahuna head. He's soft to the handle and exhibits coverage to the ground on a stocky frame. Hanapepe is a boy that represents a combination of genetics you won't get anywhere else supported by the fact of science...he is near the top in every trait tested which is rare!..

A few years ago when Pucara reserved breedings to Latah Creek's elite males, they sent one of their best Pucara Allegro daughters, Pucara Eve, also the daughter of NGG Geneve who is a daughter of the famous Ganador (who is possible the most unheralded Suri male in the U.S.) to LCA Accoyo Whiteout, a Champion male who they considered a perfect match. Elanora was the result of this pairing. Elanora is an upright girl, pleasing to the eye with an easy gait and correct frame and jaw set. Her fleece shows off good luster, low micron, good independence of lock and way above average density. Combine this with high quality genetics and bred to the best performing male stud in the country and you have a recipe for success. In fact, that is what she has produced, both her 2011 and 2012 cria were exceptional.

Macgyver Too is a rare pairing of genetic lines. Being a Captain Morgan and Sniper cross he carries a double heritage of Macgyver lines. Very few males have been able to accomplish what Macgyver Too has done. "Rogue Suri Alpacas Fir Meadow Sniper’s Macgyver Too” (Mackie) was biopsied as a 21 month old medium brown suri male with ARI#35267157. His 15x scan shows fiber clusters very uniform in placement within his connective tissue. His density is 70.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and his average S/P ratio is 8.1 to 1 based on 25 fiber clusters. He grades level 4 of 4 gland presence and note that 100% of his secondary fibers show medullation. Note that many of his secondary fibers are round or cylindrical which is also associated with increased luster. Note on his 250x scan the presence of 1 immature secondary fiber. These fibers were included in the S/P average but not measured. 100 secondary fibers average 18.4 microns while 50 primary fibers average 28.2 microns for a variation of 9.8 microns. Macgyver Too’s AFD on June 24, 2017 is 19.61 microns.
