**Update Summer 2024 - Trouble's first cria has hit the ground and he is a spitting image of his sire - a jet black 19.5# cria with incredible conformation and from all outward appearances at a few hours old, he has fiber characteristics to match. He will be one to watch. **Update May 2022 - shearing this male was amazing. The coal black blanket is stunning. The frame on this yearling is stunning. He stands out in the field of green with his well-balanced, correct, upright conformation as he gazes across the pasture to the females. We know he will replace his sire on herdsire row one day. It doesn't bother us that a few grey spots have appeared on his neck (thanks to grey genetics from his dam). It is a nod to the sire for passing the baton to this male. _________________ Blacktastic. Absolutely thrilling to see a 6 month old male snag a first place ribbon at the National show in a very competitive class of 10 that had all the "big names" in it. Blacktastic (aka "Trouble") has a picture perfect profile and straight on conformation - showing off excellent style and body balance with his strong bone and topline. He has a perfect bite and a true-to-type huacaya head. His fiber compliments his frame - incredibly bright, soft, consistent architecture across the blanket and it is both fine and dense - hard to achieve in black.
