Grandsire of 2023 and 2024 CNASF Supreme, also both male and female Supremes at the second Show that weekend ALPACA Spring Show ( Currently the largest Show in Canada. UPDATE: It is with a heavy heart we are announcing that this Great Macho, Producer of so many Supremes and Champion Son, daughters, and grand offspring has passed away today Sept 11th, 2023. He was the poster child of perfection, in every way. We are very Proud to announce, as of April 08th, 2022, that Foundation was crowned again winning the Sires Cup, giving him the title for the last 2 CNASF Supreme Champion Alpaca's. How many Farms will poste pictures of what their Herd Sires look like at 16 years of age? He is by far the best alpaca investment we have made since getting into alpacas. We were exposed to him when we seen his first offspring displayed at the CNASF by Foxwood Alpacas. It was obvious that their sire was Producing outstanding animals, that had fleece lengths and Presence that was unmatched. So, the path started to get those genetics and when the opportunity came up to buy him we jumped on it. He produces extreme density, fleece lengths, with consistency and longevity. His progeny have solid frames, calm personalities and very showy. He has produced many Champions and Supremes, in both fleece and showring, and all other side attractions, Canada and the USA. He is well recognized for his progeny accomplishments and the quality he produces. He has produced Champions in all classes and in 2019 at the Canadian National Alpaca Futurity produced the Grand Champion alpaca in 4 of the 5 classes and Reserve Champion in the 5th. For a bonus the Judge was the World recognized and highly acclaimed Arturo Pena. His daughter at almost 3 yrs of age Birchleaf Kanita (Brown) went on to win Supreme Alpaca. It was the1st time ever won by a brown alpaca. These accomplishments have never happened before at the CNASF, and shows the prepotency of this male. He was one of a kind and true impact Sire, Some may make this claim about their Sires, but Foundation has proven time and time again ;)

Best Man will be Standing Stud at Aurora Alpacas this Summer either Contact Diago directly or e-mail us if U are interested in a breeding. Best Man is a gentle Giant, either Darcy of Kelly Brewster (thx Kelly :) have shown him. He comes from a line of very calm robust animals. Check him out on the CNASF face book page in the line up for Supreme, with Kelly presenting him. Best Man's fibre is very fine, dense and consistent from ears to top of legs. One of the stand outs for his fibre is the extremely low SD and lack of primaries. He has a stellar body structure, strong frame and a stunning head. Best Man is very calm and easy to work with, with a showy presence (Like big Sis Kanita). We are seeing the results of 3 plus generations of breeding animals with a proud showy presence and quiet demeaners. He has grey color on his ears and muzzle, indicating his ability to throw grey, as has his maternal sister Kanita ( offspring Smokin Gun). He would be a great asset to any color program, including grey. Watch this guy as he matures and starts collecting Championships. Best Man has a lot to of great qualities to add to a colored breeding program. We feel his offspring will pay for his purchase price multiple times, and if not sold, we will use on our colored females.

Description

3rd cria, Empress wins 2 Reserve Champions at her first 2 shows the CNASF and A.L.P.A.C.A. Spring shows. Forget Me Not is a Phenotypically Stunning female. She is also the ONLY black female offspring from Foundation. She has a heavily penciled fleece, that has outstanding density, length and consistency. Minimal Guard hair and excellent neck fibre are an additional bonus. Her first cria Instigator, is a real stunner and is winning Championships with his juvy fleece, and is heading to Quebec to be put into Stud row. At the Quebec spring show 2023 he won Grey Grand Champion male and Reserve Supreme yearling male, beaten only by white. Her second cria , is also incredible and shows her ability of producing consistent high quality. She is turning out to be one of our best producing females and will remain in our foundation herd, as at one time we were considering selling her. She has been bred once again to OTT, hopefully this time a female cria. Color probabilities are endless!
