Cameron doesn’t need us to tout his praises. He speaks for himself through his amazing show record, his astonishing fleece and his legendary pedigree - and now his multiple banner-winning ofspring in fawn, brown, black and grey. We first met Cameron when he was only four months of age. Seeing he was already something special, we eagerly purchased half interest from our friends Ian and Jennifer Lutz of Cas-Cad-Nac Farm. Then we waited and watched him mature into a finer yet denser version of his sire, Snowmass Nova, who won the Herdsire of the Year award two years in a row. He is a veritable new and improved edition! Cameron carries EXCEPTIONAL dense, bright fleece with SPECTACULAR (almost unbelievable) high frequency crimp. There is a perceptible sigh or gasp everytime we part his fleece to show off to visitors. We can confidently say he is one of the nicest black males out there today. We are delighted to have him in our program as he continues to produce winners for us year after year! Cameron is proudly co-owned with Cas-Cad-Nac Farms.

Dam: Emelise's Honey Bea

Emelise's Honey Bea

Bea is the product of our true black Futurity-champion superstud, CCNF Cameron, and arguably our top-producing dam, Honeybuns. We knew this pairing would work since it produced a banner-winning female in the past and we are not at all surprised how well it came together. Bea is a VERY fine, VERY soft true black lady and we are thrilled at how that has remained unchanged as she has aged. Her uniformity of color, micron and crimp style are quite impressive. She has a high frequency and amplitude crimp style and something I love to see in my fleeces - brightness galore! She was only shown once and placed second behind the champion in the highly competitive North American show. Amanda VandenBosch remarked on her fabulous fineness, crimp style and lovely, lovely handle. Bea is open but we suggest going with our champion Jeremiah son, Neveda. He has sired several of our best cria ever with Bea's dam and we are quite excited to see the cria that will come from this cross! Alternatively, her last cria is a gorgeous modern grey sired by Crescent Moon's Rayo's Spittin' Image. Repeating this breeding would certainly be a solid option as well! In either case, it will be a long 340 days waiting for this one! With many, many champions on both both sides of her pedigree as well in those of her service sire, Bea is a female that could benefit the program of ANY serious huacaya breeder. Please call for more info, photos and fleece samples.

Description

We chose "Shaka" to be part of our foundation herd because she contains the physical traits we are looking for and the genetics needed to produce superb quality grey alpacas. Shaka is a "best of" compilation of the outstanding grey/black breeding program of Susan & Wayne Robinson at Emelise Alpacas. This program has produced many champions in every single color for almost 20 years now. Their greys and blacks are led by the magnificent grey Crescent Moon's Rayo's Spittin' Image and the black 7x Champion CCNF Cameron. When you breed Spittin Image to a black Cameron daughter you get ........ BOOM!....Shakalaka. The powerful grey & black genetics wrapped in beautiful smokey grey packing which is Boom Shakalaka. Sue Robinson describes Shaka as: a lovely modern dark silver grey female with a large strong frame and perfect proportions. Her fleece is lovely, super soft, fine and crimpy with notable density. She has powerful black and grey genetics for days on both sides of her pedigree and would be a strong addition to any serious program breeding for colors. Shaka's first cria was a textbook delivery of a gorgeous true black girl in 2022. Shaka has not only been an excellent mother but an excellent Auntie to all the kids. She is definitely the Matriarch of the herd. She is also bred back to Wingman for an encore in 2023. I have to sell to keep my herd size down so I'm offering Shaka for sale. If she does sell, then her daughter, Everlasting Hope, will definitely stay in my breeding program.
