PRA was proud when Majestic Peruvian Diego arrived thank to our friends Faye and Jeff Farley at Majestic Meadows in Ohio. Majestic Peruvian Diego is a light brown full peruvian male sired by multiple champion winning and producing Jeremiah's Peruvian Jumanji. His dam is a true black, My Peruvian Dona Ivanna. Diego's light brown fleece is bright, soft, uniform in color, and the character and staple length is impressive for a male of his age. He took a 2nd at the 2016 Futurity in the light brown juvenile male class. Diego has already settled several females before he left Majestic Meadows, and we anxiously await the arrival of those cria. We originally saw Crescent Moon's Frances Cabrini (Frannie for short) at the 2013 Futurity and decided right then and there we wanted her as part of our breeding program. She is a daughter of the multiple banner winner, ATV ADONNIS. Her Grand sire is the great medium rose gray Mr. Roosevelt and her dam, Chantillie Lace, is a medium brown Legacy daughter. This highly desirable heritage produced Frances Cabrini, a light fawn with hints of grey in her fleece. She has been called a "fading fawn" which starts as dark fawn at the top line and becomes progressively lighter down her side. She has excellent density and advanced staple development with superior coverage. Frannie has a regal carriage with a solid frame to compliment her fineness and her beauty. She is very curious, and is always watching what is happening in the surrounding farmland. She has a friendly personality, and always comes up to the gate when anyone enters the barn. Frances was bred to our herd sire Majestic Peruvian Diego, who has superior brown and grey genetics. August 7 2020, a gorgeous white face (like his dam) brown (like his sire) male cria was born. Mask of Zorro (Zorro for short) was born in the early afternoon, and was nursing almost immediately. He brings the density of both of his parents, along with their excellent coverage, and fabulous crimp. We expect our fiber quality and genetics to make great strides with Zorro!
