Dam: JJA Accoyo Bono's Bombay

A Tall cool drink!

JJA Accoyo Bono's Bombay

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 32479485DOB: 6/11/20159 yrs
This big girl is about as robust as they come. 23.7 lbs and raring to get up and find that milk bar! Only a few days old but fleece is dense with micro bundling starting in. Large bones and straight frame. This girl's family are great at birthing and milk production and good solid mothering skills. Bombay will be an amazing foundation girl able to produce color like all her female relatives have. The only reason she hasn't been shown is because she has no sense of cleanliness! She gets hosed down to clean her off but before she is dry she will find something to lay in. Very dense (hard to breed for), brilliant shine, with a high frequency, low amp fleece. Her breeding to Impeccable has been anticipated greatly. I can't keep all these gals so look long and hard at this girl who has a ton of remarkable fiber and a great family history of production of white and color. She is halter trained and a sweet heart. Of course BVDV negative Bombay had her much anticipated Impeccable offspring on June 13, 2019. Impeccable's Imposter is drop dead gorgeous and will most likely be Impeccable's replacement in a few years. Beautiful medium to dark fawn with amazing conformation and fiber. Show string material for sure! As much as I wanted to rebreed Bombay to Impeccable, Imposter was a month old when the next few cria came that were too small for his playful personality. We decided to have his dam bred off farm so we'd get some new lines plus have him be with cria his own size. Terrific decision. She took on the first breeding to a stud at Foggy Bottom Alpacas. Bombay birthed a white female with her Baldasarre breeding. Fantastic fleece and large bone, nice coverage. The summer got away from me with running the store and farm etc...so not as many females got bred as I wanted to. 2021 Bombay was bred to a white male that I sooo wanted offspring from but she didn't maintain the pregnancy, just got fat! She has been exposed to JJA Adonis' Dozer. Spit testing postive. Bombay did have a brown female in 2023. A extremely gorgeous girl, very robust until she ate something that caused a partial blockage. She passed away despite every effort to save her. Bombay will be rebred spring of 2024. She makes absolutely gorgeous cria. Look up Brielle and Imposter.

Service Sire: PHA Accoyo Impeccable

Full Accoyo/Polaris son

PHA Accoyo Impeccable

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 31673693DOB: 7/10/200915 yrs
Impeccable is truly an amazing alpaca. His fleece is awe inspiring! He is up to 8 championships! Would have been 9 if he had again beat the two guys who took the CC & RCC at the 2011 Nationals. Ruined his blue streak but he picked it up again in 2012! I often wonder how many more ribbons he would have earned had he not missed his juvey year in the ring. Impeccable is a compact male with heavy bone, EXTREME density, and Extrordinary fine fleece with heavenly character and shine. Top this all off with the fact that he comes from some of the strongest/most potent Accoyo lines AND he is a gorgeous light fawn. He was medium fawn until about 1 yr. He has the dark eyeliner, pallet, and toenails that lends itself to producing darker offspring. His introductory breedings sold out even before he got all those ribbons. He is making winners! Covers black & grey! Offspring include, Impeccable's Preacher, Impeccable's Suzanne, Impeccable's Impressive, Accoyo Filson, Accoyo Halo, Perception, Patience, Joe Black, Blue Ridge' Special Edition, and many more that have gone on to other farms.

Description

Fleece extraordinaire! And lots of it. Only thing I would wish more for this girl is that she wasn't such a pig pen! Just like her mother, doesn't recognize a dirty area, just plops down where ever. She is show string worthy but no shows for us-maybe one closer to home this spring. We did one double show this year and Brielle did so well coming in 2nd & 3rd to the CC of both shows and getting the RC in the Railsplitter. I'm keeping this one as I need more young white fleece for my yarn dyeing supply. Brielle had her first offspring in 2023. A real looker from her breeding to Sugarland's Phoenix. Unfortunately, it's also a white male which we have from another Phoenix breeding to our girl Darby. Phoenix's Phenom and Phoenix's JJA Grand Teton. I'm gonna have to part with one of them and Phenom is close to breeding... Anyway, Brielle has been such a blessing. Calm, easy to breed and except for being so tired while in labor with Teton and falling asleep while standing, a great birther and mom. I'm hoping that she is pregnant by Impeccable who bred her dam years ago for a beautiful Imposter. White or fawn, doesn't matter as it will be amazing. We had to stop doing ultrasounds due to extravagant cost of $200 trip charge + $165/hr and ultrasounds are addition $50-$60. So behavior testing is working so far and then watching the bellies. We did up having to do some ultrasounds as I wasn't able to do spit testing as much in the late fall. Brielle was negative on the ultrasound. Will start over with breeding early May. I will be breeding her to Phenom for a special white.
