Enterprise cria... criated to amaze! DRUM ROLL, PLEASE! Enterprise has now produced a true black full Accoyo son -- make that two TBs to his credit. You should see his babies! You're gonna want to breed your girls to him--his cria are really extraordinary. And... they range in color from white to fawn to brown to BB and TB. He has even surprised us with silver grey! There is no limit to the possibilities. It's all about "lingering fineness" and he has just given new meaning to it. 2008--17.8/3.2/18.0/0.5 2009--19.5/3.6/18.7/0.6 2010--20.6/3.5/16.8/0.7 2011--19.0/3.1/16.4/0.7 2012--21.6/3.6/16.6/1.5 2013--22.4/4.2/18.6/3.5 We had searched far and wide to find a dark colored full Accoyo male to add to our breeding program; and it couldn't be just any dark Accoyo male. Our criteria were pretty stringent. Correct conformation was a given, along with a perfect bite; genetics had to be some of the best in the industry. His fiber had to be super fine but he had to have remarkable density and a long staple length--it's not always easy to find all three characteristics co-existing in the same animal. And, it had to be radiantly bright with tight crimp. Not only all that, but he couldn't share the same bloodlines as most of our females. We were able to find all these qualities in this young male. So it is with great delight that we welcomed Accoyo Enterprise to our breeding program. He has already proven that he has a continued great future in our Accoyo breeding program. His fleece is characterized by exquisite independent bundling and brightness with a sharply defined crimp that extends to the belly and head; and a full topknot that resembles a mushroom! The best example of this amazing male's production is AOV Accoyo Eros. He's already been awarded 8 blues and 5 championships at a little over a year of age! Eros sold at the recent Breeders Edge Auction and was the second highest selling alpaca out of 77. $1500 for boarded breeding.

AOV Accoyo Peony

AOA# 31869850DOB: 10/5/200915 yrs
CONSIGNED TO THE PERUVIAN CLASSIC ON OCTOBER 30TH. Peony is a very solid full Accoyo maiden who is extremely dense with high frequency crimp, typical of what her sire, Prestige, produces in his offspring. Her May 2010 histogram of 16.8/3.3/19.4/0.4 illustrates her fineness--take at look at her AFD and her remarkably low SD. Absolutely no surprise there! Her dam, Lily, a Leon daughter, at the age of nine has an AFD of 20.3. You might say here's a good chance that lasting fineness is in her cards! Her legs are straight, her bite is correct and she has spot-on conformation. On top of all these positive traits, she has a pleasant temperament. Most notably, she has a brown spot at the base of her tail which indicates that she has a strong potential to produce color--that's always exciting when you are raising full Accoyos. This spring, breed her to any one of our full Accoyo herdsires. We offer full Accoyo genetics in white, light fawn and medium fawn. Our choice would be to our up-and-coming MF herdsire, Accoyo America Enterprise, a full Accoyo Centurion son. Along with being a reserve color champion, Enterprise earned the highest score in the fawn class for his age group and was awarded the highest score for all fawn huacayas at the 2010 AOBA National Spin-Off. His histogram at three years of age is 20.6/3.5/16.8/0.7—exceptionally fine for a MF breeding male, and, with virtually no medullation. His offspring are hitting the ground now and they are everything we had hoped they would be. Pair these two up and we can only imagine what the result will be—fineness through and through and, more than likely, color.
