NEW BLOODLINE ADDED TO OUR HERSIRE LINEUP FOR 2021! We are extremely excited to add this handsome modern male to our herdsire lineup! Cup of Java certainly has the look and fiber qualities we are looking for in a dark sire. This young male is the product of elite bloodlines and was simply a hidden gem waiting to be discovered...by a grey program! Son of Snowmass Pure Reserve XX (now residing in Germany) and BB dam Kamaaina Kailani, he was originally registered as a DB but turned out to be a modern DRG. Cup of Java comes from a long line of grey on his dam’s side (ATV Adonnis, Crescent Moon's Unforgettable..). His maternal grand-dam, Kamaaina Kuuipo, was a modern grey and was shown as such in her early days. Cup of Java certainly inherited the roaning gene from the maternal side of his pedigree. Typical to most roans, this male displays greying all along his neck, up to his jaw line and cheeks. His blanket is a deep warm brown with rose hues as roaning is definitely present throughout. Added to his macho look and calm demeanor, he also displays amazing coverage on a compact frame with beautiful fineness and handle for age and color. Despite not being shown due to his unusual color pattern, this young male has stellar genetics (both parents EPDs are jaw dropping) and his grey roaning pattern fits our program perfectly. Needless to say, we are truly over the moon to add him to our lineup! We would like to thank Ariya Alpagas for allowing us to bring this amazing male back home with us! Cup of Java will certainly produce many stunning classics and roans in our program so we cannot wait to put him to work in 2021.
