Electrof;yre is the 2022 HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR Light Colored Offspring and the RESERVE HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR Medium Farm! To date his offspring have won 103 Championships, 2 Supremes, 4 Judge's Choice and 13 Bests. 4/15/2019 UPDATE!! Electrofyre is now solely owned by Raynay Alpaca Farm and will be residing in North Carolina. His offspring have proven themselves as champions and producers of champions. To date they have earned 69 championships, 2 National Supreme Championships, 3 Judge's Choice and 3 Best Awards. We are offering limited outside breedings at this time so here is your chance to put some FYRE power in your herd!! 2019 EPD's are out and Electrofyre doesn't disappoint! Top 1% in 3 categories and Top 5% in 3 categories. Dr Norm Evan's Biopsy report: “WLK Electrofyre” was biopsied as a 3 year old white Suri male. His ARI# is 31778002. His 15X scan shows fiber clusters that are very symmetrical and uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. This trait likely passed from his dam. His density is 55.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and his S/P ratio from 25 clusters averages 8.5 to 1. Note on the S/P & 250X scan that greater than 80% of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers. He shows level 4 of 4 gland structure. This trait was likely passed from his sire. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density is likely nutritional. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 20.8 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 26.3 microns. This equates to a micron variation of only 5.5 microns. Note from all scans the grey areas around the follicles which should create super luster as well as being a genetic trait passed from the sire to his offspring. His strongest trait is likely his fineness with only a 5.5 micron spread. This trait with few fibers greater than 30 microns appears also to be a strong trait passed from the sire to the offspring as well. His density averages 20% greater than the best Suri males and with 80% of this secondary fiber medullated, he likely feels even more dense. This male is strong with genetic fiber traits.

GLR Tashina

SuriOpen (Female)White, Light Brown, Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 32138856DOB: 9/20/201212 yrs
UPDATE: A stunning female cria sired by Raynay's Aladdin by Jet hit the ground running Summer 2024. Tashina delivered a beautiful female cria with her same markings, sired by Golden Legacy. Legacy is the full sibling to WI Limited Edition and our very own BRKRD Emerald Cut. GLR Tashina is just about a cute as they come and a ranch favorite for sure. Her mother GLR Tashi was the first offspring of multiple champion GLR Tica, one of the first Shavano daughters. Tica won one of the first judges choices as a colored suri during her career. Tashi was sired by 5 time White Color Champion Young Felipe. GLR Kolaqua, Tashina's dad, was a two time AOBA Nationals Grey Male Color Champion and has produced some awesome cria in the past few years. Tashina is dense, incredibly lustrous and has a great "show ring presence" along with great density, lock and a beautiful little suri head. She is a favorite to turn heads with her crazy and beautiful colored fleece. Her initial micron test was 19.6. With her colored genetics and great fiber characteristics both in person and in her pedigree, it will be fun to see what she produces. At only 7 months old she won Reserve Grey Female Color Champion at both the AAA Futurity and MAPACA Jubilee and went on to place second in her class as a juvenile at the 2013 AOBA Nationals. Tashina was the Grey Female Color Champion at the 2014 AOA Nationals, the AAA Futurity and MAPACA. She ended her show career with being selected as the MAPACA Jubilee Judges Choice. She is bred to Cinders for a fall cria and we can't wait to see the results of that breeding! Maxamus has been working hard for us this past Summer. 3rd girl he has settled for us. Tashina will deliver a Spring 2018 cria, we are so excited!! Delivered a classic rose grey girl we have named Rose! Rose has a new home in Oklahoma on Healing Springs Suris.Tashina has been rebred to Maxamus and is due Spring 2019. Tashina has birthed another beautiful rose grey girl!! I think she is going to be a modern rose like her mom. We have named her Candy Spots. Hoping for another appy grey we chose to breed her to Electrofyre for a Fall 2020 cria. Delivered on her due date!! 9/2020 Tashina delivered a white male with light fawn patches. Too early to tell what color he will officially be this early. New boy is strong and healthy!! Description

While I was hoping for grey when I made this breeding decision I just cannot be disappointment with the results. This boy is covered from head to toe and has the wrinkled skin on his sides and up his neck. WOW!! His sire is none other than the stellar herdsire ELECTROFYRE, 9 X Judge's Choice recipient. His dam is an appy grey out of the Great Lake Ranch breeding program. GLR Tashina was a Judge's Choice winner coming up from the grey class which is almost unheard of! St Elmo (Junior) will make his show debut at the 2021 Futurity Show and Sale in Kansas City. He will be a juvie but I think he can hang with the big boys.
