This young male has one cria on the crowd and we are waiting for new chia's in the spring. HE is out of our previously owned Suri herdisre WRSR Mercury Rising's Marauder. Marauder was a beautiful light rose grey. His son, Blade looks very similar to him. His dam Sera has many colorful cria that have done well for us. We are currently downsizing and would love to see this male go to a great farm for breeding. Blade has nice lock style and good luster to his fleece. He currently has 2 chia's on the ground. I only have 3 suri girls left so I will not be using him, but he has excellent regrowth and beautiful lock style. Blade has 2 crias on the ground and is ready for more!

Alex is a very sweet girl and great mother! She has had 4 crias for us so far and has had flawless births. She even makes sure that her crias eat on a regular schedule. Yes, REALLY!! We couldn't ask for a nicer female. Alex has an easy-going temperament that makes her one of our favorite keepers! She also is exibiting some really nice luster as she ages! Interestingly, this true black female has given us two medium fawn crias when bred to white and fawn males. *August 2021 UPDATE* Alex delivered a real surprise for us on August 25! A gorgeous PINTO female with sire, Mondavi-- white, med fawn, bay black/black!! This little girl is following in the footsteps of her maternal grand-dam, who was also a pinto. We are loving this little one!! JUNE 2022 We are going for the BLACK this year!! Alex was bred to Cinch for her 2023 cria. Alex has such great luster at her age and Cinch has the density PLUS luster and great locks, this should be a good match! **July 2023 UPDATE** Drum roll please......we DID IT!! Alex gave us a gorgeous true black male cria on July 20. This is the very first true black born on our farm and we are ecstatic! He was born on the feast of Saint Elias, so that will be his name. Elias is a handsome boy with lots of wrinkles on his neck and topline. We are really excited to see him develop!!

Description

This little guy arrived early in the morning and was the only birth we were lucky enough to see start to finish this year. He was up and running in 30 minutes flat! Textbook birth and first hour; we could have marked each item off a checklist at just the right time...unbelievable! Axl is the first cria from his sire, Marauder's Blade, and we were so excited for him to arrive! Being that his sire has a "semi-bad boy" name, and Mom is Alexandria, we decided to pick the "baddest" name we could find for this little guy...that contained an "x". Thus the name Axl Rogue...a little word play on the name of a longtime favorite singer of ours. Axl is developing a very fine fleece with a flatter lock style, good luster and density. His color is a gorgeous, rich mahogany and getting nicer as he matures. He had a very prominent, proud stance from day one and he just has that "herdsire" look about him. We can't wait to see how he develops!! Axl is curious and mild-tempered..not at all like his "bad boy" name suggests! He often comes to us while we are working and nudges an arm to get our attention for a neck rub. He is such a sweet boy! Axl did quite well at the MA & PA Alpaca Pronk in Centre Hall, PA on April 9-11! _______________________________________ We had 13 crias born in 2021 and now we need to make some room! These are not pet quality boys! All have very nice pedigrees, and Axl is no exception! He has black and grey genetics in his pedigree, and Champions on both sides.
