Get out your sunglasses when you see this Champion boy! Triumph has inherited the eye-popping luster from his legendary sire, WRSR Kilimanjaro, along with a beautifully proportioned compact form. Triumph's dam's unfortunate death occurred when he was only 2 weeks old. Triumph was adopted by another dam, mothered, and nursed until he was weaned. Triumph has quite the personality and is very clever. He learned how to steal at a very early age from almost every nursing dam in the pasture, as well as nursing from his adoptive "wet nurse dam". He has been healthy and strong and is one of the farm favorites. He is Mr. Personality! Not only does he have a great disposition, Triumph has great fleece and conformation. His proportions are "textbook", he has one of the most striking and notable heads we have seen, and his conformation is excellent. His fleece is exquisite with the superior luster of his sire, locks to the skin, and a greasy feel. He is covered in silky fiber from his topknot down to his toes. He was shorn as a juvenile and a yearling, and his regrowth is quite amazing: super lock, luster, and he even kept his face fiber and beard. Triumph settled his first female, IPSR Nirvana (medium brown) in July 08 at only 2 years of age. A beautiful dark fawn daughter, WRSR Triumph's Alyssa, was born in 2009 with very high luster and slick fleece. Check out her OpenHerd page! Full breeding guarantees and great customer support! Inspirational Girl! Sadly, now deceased.

Carina was a rare find! She was one of our first "pet" alpacas, bought as a birthday present for me (before we really knew anything about alpacas at all.) We had no idea of her lineage when we acquired her from her previous owners--and neither did they! She had been bought at an auction and was being resold. We just happened to ask if she had 'papers.' The owner gave them to us, we paid for her and brought her (and another friend) home. Several months later, I finally opened the envelope with her papers in it. I decided to search the internet for the names and see what I could find. I was absolutely shocked to find out about her lineage containing Pucara Hanapepe, Pucara Kahuna and others!! Using the AOA database, I was able to find her original owner and successfully transferred ownership to Honey Maple Farms! We are so glad that we found Carina!! She is the animal that inspired us to start our Suri herd for fleece production, not just cute pets. She is also the inspiration for our farm logo. She is a beautiful girl and delivered her first cria in May 2020 at almost 8 years old! Her male cria, Triumph's Evanescence, out of WRSR Kilimanjaro's Triumph was stunning! The combination of their genetics was really outstanding! Sadly our sweet Carina passed in her sleep on December 9, 2020 of an unknown cause. Her cria, Evan, died almost a month to the day later, of a broken heart....

Description

Triumph's Evanescence (Evan) was the first cria born at Honey Maple Farms.. on the coldest and only freezing day in May 2020. We were anticipating his arrival with high hopes for this cria and we were hoping for a boy! Mom, Carina, is a beautiful girl by Hanapepe and Sire, Triumph, comes from the fantastic genetics of WRSR Kilimanjaro. Evan was born outdoors (of course) and almost didn't make it due to the freezing temperature. What an initiation for first time birthers..both Carina and US!!! Needless to say, this boy is extra-special to us in more ways than one. He just had that "look"...after we revived him and could really start to appreciate the beauty of his fleece, we knew he was going to be a very special boy. Wonderful luster, wrinkled skin galore, gorgeous Suri head...we are so excited about this boy's future potential! Definitely one for the show ring. **January 2021** It is so hard to announce that this absolutely beautiful boy...our best cria born in 2020..passed away almost one month to the day of his mom, Carina's death. We think he died of a broken heart. What a heartbreaking situation for us as well...we had such high hopes for him, not only as a show animal, but as a fantastic future herdsire....HUGE sigh......I miss you Evan, my sweet boy.
