Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose (Sizzy) is a simply divine light brown, male with extremely bright fleece, full of high-frequency high amplitude Mirco bundles, as well as carrying a very dense fleece with an amazing handle. Several of the top Judges have called him "The Total Package." With him being an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion & 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been breeding for us for several years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of improvement he has made to our herd. In 2014, we consigned Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose to the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction (AAA) and he ended up selling for $90,000, making him the highest-selling Snowmass Matrix Rose offspring to date. He was sold to Daryl and Shirley Krause of Amber Autumn Alpacas in Oregon. A year later we ended up acquiring half ownership of Sizzy with both of us, Amber Autumn Alpacas and Red Granite Ranch, closing Sizzy to all outside breedings. Though his offspring will be offered at both ranches and depending on the year, some outside breedings may be offered. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose was mentioned in The American Alpaca Journal, Issue 2, January 2020 in the “Black Ring Demographics” where Sizzy appeared in the top five genetic contributors to the winning black groups in the 2018-19 black ring. Impressive indeed. His ~150 Registered offspring have won around 134 championship banners and 4 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championships as of 2020. Red Granites Allison is an absolutely astrounding, true black Color Champion female. Her Dam, LBA's Abigal was one of our main Kirwin daughters that we could used for breeding dark colors. (please see Allison's pedigree for more in depth genetic details).She was a drop dead gorgeous medium fawn female that we picked up from Crescent Moon Ranch whileist being bred to a top black male at the time. She comes from a remarkable line of some of the grandest black and dark colored alpacas around in the US. Allison's Sire is no other than Crescent Moon's Thelonius who is owned by our friends at Crescent Moon Ranch; Debbie & Scott Miller. He was a respected 7X CHAMPION male, that included a Color Champion win at the Futurity 2011. He was infact a Valentino son, bringing the favorable "Bulldog" bone structure that is highly sought after. Red Granites Allison is an 8X CHAMPION by the end of her show career, never placing below a third and held her own at the AOA National Shows she atteneded. With winning Championships at two of the most prestigious shows in the country (Great Western Alpaca Show & Futurity) we are able to say she is one of our top black female EVER produced thus far.
