July 2020 Update: 2020 offspring have hit the ground and we continue to be impressed with how this male just stamps them out. Strong frames, abundant fleece coverage, and incredible growth and development on the crias compared to others in the "nursery". You just cannot go wrong with this male and his ancestry. ____________________ The Legend has started his breeding career with authority! Three for three now - all girls (dark fawn, medium fawn and white!). Pulling in color from his own extensive background of Futurity Color Championship ancestry, we are quite pleased with what we are seeing hit the ground here! To date, his daughter, Barbie, has won 1st at Nationals as well as a banner for Best of Bred & Owned at the very competitive Carolina show - as a juvie! This male just stamps them out – a consistent impact male. A secret ingredient here is the impact dam – H2R Junebug. H2R Junebug is the daughter of Snowmass Elite Legend and TGF Lynnea, and she brings her own championship credentials to the table in the making of this next generation. Ruby was sired by Goldrush's Stone Cold Stunner- Lots of well known foundation alpacas in his pedigree: Victor's Hemiaccoyo Casanova (sire of Aussie 38 Special & Aussie Guns N Roses), Emerald Farm's Stone Cloud, Victor, and Danko. He's modern dark rose gray and received a reserve color championship at age 6.5 months! Outstanding fineness and density, with micro bundling of crimpy fiber. Her yearling shearing came back with nice stats ( 2016: 21.1AFD, 4.7 SO, 22.2 CV, 3.9 CF) Her spring 2019 shearing at 20 months was 18.3 micron! She's maintaining 23 micron after 2 crias. Ruby had a beautiful medium fawn female cria, on 8/12/19 sired by H2R Velvet Legend, named "Jewel of the Midwest". Both of Ruby's cria have been strong and up trying to nurse within an hour! Ruby is an excellent mom with a lovely temperament and will be bred to one of our excellent herd sires Spring 2023.

Don't let his name fool you! Fury will easily win you over with his sweet personality and beautiful fleece. His fleece is a rich bay black and full of fineness and crimp. He is a son of "Revolution" and we can't wait to see what his future holds. Fury's 2020 cria, Reign, is a beautiful rose gray female whose fleece has excellent crimp and fineness. We are thrilled to see his excellent genetics shining through in his offspring! Fury is an integral part of our Spring 2023 breeding plans and we can't wait to see the beautiful cria he will sire!
