AHRF Peruvian MacGregor

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Fawn
AOA# 32247701DOB: 9/3/201113 yrs
This boy has a handsome, compact, and correct frame with full coverage! His fleece exhibits extreme density with distinguished crimp, and LASTING finesse. This macho is handsome and he knows it! His personality is curious and boasts a keen awareness. AHRF Peruvian MacGregor's bragging rights include 4 Reserve Color Champion awards across his Juvenile, two year old, three year old, and 5 year old show season! Reserve Color Champion at the 2016 AOA National Halter Show at 5 years old and against 48 others is not an easy feat! He is proven and throwing color! His first cria is a medium rose grey female out of a brown dam! That female offspring has taken several banners home from the show ring! He has produced almost every color out there really letting the female's color genetics have some play too! His 2019, 2020, 2021 crops hit the ground and WOW are they gorgeous! Tons of fleece with great density, correct conformation, and the cutest heads on compact frames. If all of these features don't draw you to MacGregor, than his pedigree should! MacGregor is the son of 21 time champion HRF Peruvian Challenger, a bay black. Peruvian Challenger comes out of the CPERUVIAN ACCOYO EXPRESS and CPERUVIAN ACCOYO ALBUS lines. Plus, MacGregor's dam is a daughter of PPPeruvian Royal Fawn! These lines carry not only finesse and density, but an array of color too! AHRF Peruvian MacGregor is owned by ZB Farms in Lisbon, ND and is standing stud at Ten Seven Acres. SOLD Top 5% EPDs! Gorgeous dark brown young female! One of our best females so far. We are super excited to keep breeding her, but we can't keep them all! Her bloodlines speak for themselves. Her sire, Snowmass Apotheosis, has offspring racking up the ribbons and producing phenomenal cria! Her fiber stats are showing lasting finesse even after having several cria. Produced an ultra fine medium brown boy in 2018 to OTRA Runner's Shock Top. Produced a bay black male cria in Sept 2019 by AHRF Peruvian MacGregor. We liked him so much we bred her back the same way for September 2020. Delivered a dark fawn possibly modern grey, compact male cria Sept 2020. The cria fleece on Professor Zoom is already amazing, organized, and dense! The price listed is for Joy as a bred female, she was exposed to Irish Meadow's Granite for a July 2022 cria.

Description

TOP 10% EPDs! We just took a look at his fleece from 2022 and WOW! We are impressed with what we see. This is a great price on a nice male that could be the start, or continuation, to a colored breeding program! He has spots! One spot shy in his blanket to be considered appy but he has other spots along his neck. An interesting and compact little fellow! He has some nice organization, brightness, and density already showing promise in his fleece! The fineness here is wonderful! On the tipping point of being considered an appaloosa with several black spots throughout his fleece and a stripe on the back of his head. Unique markings with a smokey fawn color! We can't wait to see his next shearing! LOOK AT THOSE GENETICS! We think for the right colored/pattern breeding program he would make a nice Jr. Herdsire! We are watching how his adult teeth in the front are coming in. Currently they are looking a little crooked at first eruption. The alpaca with a fun story on how he got his name. In the world of 2020, our farm scheduled appointments for a "Virtual Alpaca Meeting" experience for families, classes, and businesses across the country using many platforms. On one particular day we were scheduled to appear virutally using the Zoom platform to conduct a virtual "field trip" with a college class on Animal Stories at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. A story is what they were about to receive! During this virutal event our female alpaca, Joy, went into labor. The focus of this Zoom call became the birth happening before the camera. The class was able to witness the whole birth and even got to see the little male cria take his first steps. In order to keep the connection with the class I requested a little homework from them, to come up with some names for the little fella. The students had to stay within the naming theme of that year, animations & comics. Well, a great list was created with so many aweome names. However, one stood out that fit better than any other, Professor Zoom, the arch nemesis of the Flash in the comic series. Professor Zoom is Registered with the Alpaca Owners' Association, microchipped, and BVDV tested.
