Alberta Rose’s Chananza was a multiple Champion herdsire we acquired in 2015. He was heavily used in our breeding program for 2 years before passing away on February 14th, 2019. A Supreme Champion in his own right, his progeny inherited positive traits that allowed them to win many awards in return and a Get of Sire title. The Chananza daughters in our breeding programs, notably Dame Allure du DNA and Dame Auréo du DNA, have been gamechangers with their offspring. For that, we are forever grateful to have had the chance to own Chananza has one of our herdsires. Grandcrias of Chananza are still winning great awards in the showings. In our program, his granddaughters Miss Andean Shadow du DNA and Miss Andean Sunrise du DNA cumulated several championships titles and a specialty award for Best Brightness, while in Western Canada, his granddaughter Kalhua of Aurora was awarded Supreme Champion at the Alpaca Spring Show 2022. These 3 multi-champion females share somethings else in common: on their paternal side, they are granddaughters of Xanadu P. Resolute. A winning combination.

Akyrima is one of the two daughters we have left in our herd from Aristo Milady Theodora, our very first female. The other one happens to be one of our bests, Reserve Champion Lady Aure du DNA. She is a very tall and strong female with bright black eyes. Her fleece kept all its interesting qualities with time. Even at her 9th fleece (2021), we can still find a very fine and well-organised crimp and staple length for age. On papers, Akyrima is the result of an interesting genetic combination of “older” Canadian genetics: Alpamayo, Vaccoyo and Coyo Destini. Her crias have nice conformations and fleeces. Her 2020 son, Akeeto, has the look to capture your attention as well as a gorgeous dense fleece. Akyrima was left open for 2021 as she caught a pneumonia during summer 2020. Her 2022 daughter is simply a KNOCKOUT! Just wow!!! That fleece at birth on that frame! She delivered another nice looking Excelsior daughter in 2023. She's priced without cria, but could be added to an additional price... I have retired her from our breeding program.

Service Sire: TIGER LILY CONOPA'S SMOAK

9x Champion Conopa son

TIGER LILY CONOPA'S SMOAK

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Brown
AOA# 35062066, CLAA# CAN47893DOB: 6/13/20177 yrs
Tiger Lily Conopa’s Smoak will bring another great layer of quality in our herd with his incredible fleece and genetics! Smoak did extremely well in the showings, winning 9 Championship and 1x Supreme Champion title. Several times, he showed with his wins that his quality surpasses the lighter alpacas’ (with the Supreme and Age Championship), that means a lot for a brown! His fiber’s stats showed that he has a very fine fleece with an AFD of 14.7 microns at his 1st histogram and 16.3 microns at his 2nd. Barely no guard hair on his chest, and none on his blanket. His fleece has a very high frequency crimp, merino like, with extreme density. Fleece pictures don't do him justice! He is an outstanding male, with a conformation that stands out of the group, beautiful fleece coverage from head to toes and proportions. He is bringing along his elite North American genetics that will complement our herd greatly. His sire is the legendary Snowmass Conopa XXX. His dam is equally great: Tiger Lily Samatha Ice is a 2x Supreme Champion female that produces Supreme Champions! Smoak is just one of them. Her progeny is also producing multi-Champions, one of them being 9x Supreme Champion Tiger Lily Shaka’s Pillar. She’s out of an Eclipse Alyst daughter and Bolivian Ice Man, a male that made a spectacular impact on the Western Canada industry! We were left with only 1 cria sired by Smoak from 2021, and all we can say is WOW! That single cria is outstanding and rocking in the shows, winning the 1st place ribbons and 2 Reserve Championship. A-H scored 84/100 in fleece show: 24.5 for fineness and handle, 9 for uniformity of micron, 8.5 for brightness, 8.5 for character and 9 for absence of guard hair. If you’re looking to improve all these traits named above, you must consider Smoak for breedings! Bonus: he’s a female producer! Colour genotype: EE Aa2 - Smoak will never produce whites/lights.

Description

Angela is so calm and gentle. She also is an amazing mother, truly a keeper! Her fleece is dense and well organized. She is paternal sister to our 3x champion Allure. Her dam is out of our very first female from the lines of Victor's Vaccoyo and Coyo Destini. She is also coming from the Alpamayo and CPeruvian Daniel genetics. We are really impresed with her first cria Miss At Broadway, she is so pretty! Since Broadway is sold, Angela will be most likely bred to Magnus for her 2022 offspring : let's create another beauty!
