Electrof;yre is the 2022 HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR Light Colored Offspring and the RESERVE HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR Medium Farm! To date his offspring have won 103 Championships, 2 Supremes, 4 Judge's Choice and 13 Bests. 4/15/2019 UPDATE!! Electrofyre is now solely owned by Raynay Alpaca Farm and will be residing in North Carolina. His offspring have proven themselves as champions and producers of champions. To date they have earned 69 championships, 2 National Supreme Championships, 3 Judge's Choice and 3 Best Awards. We are offering limited outside breedings at this time so here is your chance to put some FYRE power in your herd!! 2019 EPD's are out and Electrofyre doesn't disappoint! Top 1% in 3 categories and Top 5% in 3 categories. Dr Norm Evan's Biopsy report: “WLK Electrofyre” was biopsied as a 3 year old white Suri male. His ARI# is 31778002. His 15X scan shows fiber clusters that are very symmetrical and uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. This trait likely passed from his dam. His density is 55.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and his S/P ratio from 25 clusters averages 8.5 to 1. Note on the S/P & 250X scan that greater than 80% of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers. He shows level 4 of 4 gland structure. This trait was likely passed from his sire. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density is likely nutritional. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 20.8 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 26.3 microns. This equates to a micron variation of only 5.5 microns. Note from all scans the grey areas around the follicles which should create super luster as well as being a genetic trait passed from the sire to his offspring. His strongest trait is likely his fineness with only a 5.5 micron spread. This trait with few fibers greater than 30 microns appears also to be a strong trait passed from the sire to the offspring as well. His density averages 20% greater than the best Suri males and with 80% of this secondary fiber medullated, he likely feels even more dense. This male is strong with genetic fiber traits.

First two halter shows of her career and two purple banners! Larie is Spectacular in every way. She has soft handling fleece that is consistent front to back on a very well built frame. Her dam was a 5 X Judge's Choice and her sire was a 3 X Judge's Choice. Her maternal Brother, Spectacular Bid was a 9 X Banner Winner and her sister, Stella was a Judge's Choice recipient. All of Spectacular's offspring have had successful show careers and are now residing at alpaca ranches coast to coast as foundation females and herdsires. Larie's lineage is loaded to the hilt......Crown Prince, Crown Royal, Double Dutch and Apache! We love this girl so she is remaining in our herd as a foundation female. Her first cria is due in the Spring of 2020 so don't miss out on the opportunity to elevate your suri herd with her Spring cria. We just finished showing her 2019 fleece at the Carolina Alpaca Celebration and she scored 80.5, highest light suri score earning it the color championship. This score reflects the deductions for tender fleece to boot! Take a look at her SHIP scores. SHIP SCORES: Conformation: ALL 5's one 4 Fleece: Luster 4.5 Fineness 5 Uniformity of Micron 3.5+ Density 3.5 Lock Structure 4 Handle 4 Uniformity of Color 5 Fleece Phenotype 5 Confirmed pregnant by WLK ELECTROFYRE for a Spring 2020 cria. I am most excited about this pairing! UPDATE: Larie delivered a beautiful white female cria on June 13th. UPDATE ! Larie delivered a beige male sired by Tempo on 8/19/21. Pictures to follow...

Description

Lark is the first cria out of my lovely foundation female, Larie by Mercury. Larie was a Judge's Choice recipent as was her dam (WLK Spectacular) and her sire ( MMALP Mercury). I could go on and on about the superb genetics this young female brings to the table. So far I have only mentioned the bottom half of her heritage. Her sire is the record breaking 9 X Judge's Choice winner, WLK Electrofyre. She is displaying spot on conformation on a sturdy compact frame and a pleasing wedge shaped head. We hope she will continue the tradition and become a 3rd generation champion. If you are looking for a foundation female, Lark is no joke....she is the real deal. She will start off her halter show career at the 2021 AOA National Show in NE. Lark finished her Juvie career with a Reserve Championship in Walking Fleece at the 2021 Mapaca Jubilee. She was first in halter at both the Jubilee and Gala but unfortunately not enough entrants for a championship. We plan to continue showing her next year as a full fleeced yearling but we would gladly give someone else the privilege of showing next year as well! Give us a call if you have any questions about this future stud production female.
