This boy got the best his champion parents can offer - beautiful confirmation with a spectacular head and high luster extremely soft fleece. In fact his fleece has such an amazingly soft handle it's hard to stop touching it! Top that off with a friendly personality and a pedigree full of stars and you've got a fantastic herdsire prospect. His mother is one of our all-time favorite alpacas who's juvi fleece was an astounding 16 microns. Matched with Enrique who's first two fleeces came in at 19 microns, she's produced 2 solid fawn, super fine boys in a row. 2014 - Kokatahee's first cria, Dakini Echo in the Bone, is outstanding. We couldn't be more thrilled with this result. 2015 - Unfortunately the dams chosen for the 2015 production were killed in a dog attack on the farm and their crias died with them. 2016 - Congratulations to Big Timber Alpacas on their new Kokatahee girl Cocobolo. She looks a lot like her dad when he was born. PureSuri Lexus is a daughter of one of the densest males ever seen, LCA Viho who is one of my favorite alpacas of all time. Viho is the product of 2 of the most important white herdsire lines in the United States - Inca & Bruxo. Her dam, LCA Juanita is a Snowmass Ice Dancer daughter that is infused with the superior genetics of Uribe and Ganador, another extremely dense white Accoyo male, and Bruxo. Juanita's 2015 EPD's are in the Top 1% for AFD and Fibers >30, which is not surprising for a Bruxo-line girl. Lexus was produced from the genetics that originated at Snowmass Alpacas and continued into the program at Latah Creek Alpacas. From there the PureSuri herd was formed - the cream of the crop at Latah Creek and the result of the superb breeding philosophy that produced a herd that dominated the suri show ring in white suris. Tracing back to multiple impact herd sires known for density and fineness, Lexus is a stud female who's already produced winners and I'm thrilled to have her working in the Dakini herd. Her son Kahuna's Lexus is working as a foundation stud at Pucara International and we're thrilled to have her daughter Ama Terasu by our beautiful Dakini Kokatahee working in our herd. Lexus delivered a spitfire of a girl on Sept 13. I've never seen a cria take off running around the pasture within an hour of birth like she did. He poor mom was chasing her everywhere until she finally laid down for a rest. Her sire, Kekoa is an up and coming stud male who exhibits incredible luster as a result of fineness AND uniformity of micron with accentuated density - a truly luscious fleece!
