El R Tequila Lights Cuervo

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 31914321DOB: 6/4/201014 yrs
El R Tequila Light’s Cuervo is an extremely handsome and macho male who is ready to start his breeding career. Cuervo has an incredibly dense, yet fine fleece with lots of tightly crimped bundles of fiber packed on his true to type square and strong frame. Cuervo is a very stylish looking male; he has a very pleasing head style, level topline, perfect bite and exhibits substantial bone. For us it’s easily understood where Cuervo got his good looks and beautiful fleece characteristics from. He is a son of Tequila’s Victor Light who hails from MSA Hemingway’s Tequila and carries Peruvian Victor and Cahuide on his paternal grandam’s side. Cuervo’s dam, EL R Lulu has been one of the long time members of Joan Speir’s El Ranchito herd, producing champion after champion. When I saw Cuervo as a cria, I fell in love with him and the fleece I was seeing develop, so when I had the opportunity to bring he and Lulu to ROCKSTAR there was no hesitation. The consistency in fineness, density, long staple, great handle and proof of pedigree has been a priceless addition to our herd and genetic pool and I could not be more thankful. Cuervo is just starting to breed so we are offering an introductory breeding fee of $500 so we can hopefully get a few of his cria on the ground so everyone else can see what we see in him. I’ve listed him for sale ONLY because I want to see him used to his full potential in a serious white breeding program, and we are limited by how many alpacas we can have. However, if he stays one of our studs, I’ll fully admit I’ll NOT be too disappointed!!! This boy will get it done!

Dam: Derwydd-Ado Snodrift

El Nino Granddaughter with Top 5% EPD's

Derwydd-Ado Snodrift

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 35072478DOB: 2/24/201410 yrs
Snodrift or "Snow" as we call her, is the first to greet you at our farm. She is a proud girl who stands tall in the pasture. She has amazing bright white, fine and dense fleece.Check out her EPD! Her worst fiber stat is still in the top 20%. I guess that is to be expected when you have El Nino as your grandfather as well as Augusto in your lineage. She came to us from a farm that did not show animals, therefore has never been shown. Snow is now bred to our own Edison. Update: Sno gave birth to a beautiful and healthy white boy we are calling Northern Blessings' Avalanche. With the genetics on both sides this is a boy to watch. Snowdrift is bred to our own super handsome boy Northern Blessings Royal Moon. Lots of great genetics on both sides. This should be a great pairing as Snowdrift allows color to come through.
