El Campeon (Champ) is retired and living on lush green pastures. He is listed here for reference only. El Campeon's offspring are proving to be well-conformed, crimpy, and uniform. He has improved upon the dam in uniformity, handle, coverage, crimp amplitude, and even personality. He is producing incredible fineness as low as 14 microns! One breeder said of their Champ cria, "he is a beautiful male with the best fleece on our farm - ultra fine, silky, and very crimpy!" El Campeon (Champ) has a luscious medium to dark fawn AWARD-WINNING FLEECE that you can't keep your hands off and a head & coverage you can't keep your eyes off. The first thing you notice about Champ besides his gentle yet confident demeanor is his FULL COVERAGE from head to toe. At further inspection, his SOFT HANDLE, DENSITY, AND UNIFORM CRIMP abound throughout his fleece. And the judges agree. Among Champ's many fleece awards includes a FIRST PLACE at the AFCNA Continental Fleece Show in 2008; judge's comments were that he was "the Clear Winner with very much the higher score, very good staple length, definition and character...good uniformity overall, and a very heavy cutting fleece." In 2007, we sheared an amazing 10 pounds of fiber from Champ, which he topped with 13 POUNDS in 2008. He is also well conformed with an excellent bite, and settled his first female on our ranch at just a month after turning 2 years old. Champ's dam, Tasha Yar, has maintained an extremely fine fleece - 20.7 microns at 10 years of age! She continues to produce award winning crias for us and is an excellent mother. Champ's sire, NWA/Line Fallstaff, has many awards, winning Reserve Color Champion at GWAS Fleece Show 2005 at age 5! Both dam and sire are maintaining superior fiber quality as they age, and Champ is following right in their footsteps. Champ's bloodlines include Don Julio, along with grandsires El Moustachio and PPeruvian Felix.

Camry is now being sold as a non-breeder as we have retired her as a mama. Her sweet personality, soundness, and low maintenance make her ideal for someone just looking for a few good-looking critters to graze their pasture. She would also make a nice auntie to some little ones. Given Camry's age, we would recommend only shearing her every other year.

Touche is literally that! He's spot on! (But, without the spots!) We recently purchased him and he is bred to several of our females. Excited to see what he puts on the ground! Did you check out his EPDs? They're fantastic and we are proud to have his genetics and gorgeous fleece on our farm! Description

Breeding included. Terra would do well in a dryer climate as we have had to treat her feet during the prolonged wet spring months. This is the reason for her low price. Please contact us for more information. Terra's first cria, Banderas' Huckleberry Liqueur (Huck) is a gorgeous and absolutely eye-catching modern dark rose grey with frosted ears and legs. He has Terra's teddy bear head and his sire's (Spanish Peaks Banderas) unique color with a fineness of 17.7 microns - just what we had hoped! He has also held his fineness into his second year and the yarn we have processed from his fleece is luscious. So we did it again. Terra was bred back to multi-champion Spanish Peaks Banderas. This time they produced an adorable dark fawn with Banderas' signature white star on his head. His fleece is also coming in long and dreamy with Terra being the ultimate mama. TERRA'S Highlights: ELITE PERUVIAN GENETICS: Sire's side = FELIX, EL MOUSTACHIO, & DON JULIO. Dam's side = OLYMPUS, DRAMBUIE, HEMINGWAY, & DOM ALAMIR. Terra's sire is Sweet Pines Alpacas' EL CAMPEON (CHAMP), a fawn producer of wonderful offspring with exceptional and lasting uniformity in fleece characteristics. Her grandsire is an exotic modern rose grey. This combination of genetics makes her such an excellent match for Spanish Peaks Banderas. FLEECE: Terra produces a plethora of UNIFORM fleece each year (9 pounds total in 2012), following in the footsteps of her sire, who has produced 13 pounds of fiber in one shearing. Sire, EL CAMPEON of Sweet Pines Alpacas, is a 1st place ribbon winner for his very uniform and low micron fleece. His offspring have exhibited these characteristics as well with fleece as fine as 14 microns! Both Terra's sire and dam are known for amazing staple length, brightness, hand, and head to toe coverage and have passed that on to Terra. Terra is producing a QUALITY, UNIFORM, ABUNDANT fleece. CONFORMATION: PERFECTLY BOXED AND BALANCED with a perfect bite and strong bone to boot. Plus, LOOK AT THAT HEAD! She was bred July 2022 to Touche and is due June 2023.
