Accoyo America Zurbriggen

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 35142102DOB: 8/20/201410 yrs
Accoyo America Zurbriggen appears to be the best result yet of a pairing that has always impressed, that of the Accoyo America Nautilus daughter Heidi with the El Nino son Accoyo America Denali. This robust young herdsire has an extremely dense, brilliant white fleece with an impeccable juvenile histogram: 14.4/2.2/15.6/0.2. He carries that tremendous fleece on an upright, heavy-boned frame; shearing over 14 lbs of fiber! His full siblings have been highly successful in the showring, but what is most impressive with this cross is the quantity and enduring quality of their fleeces. Zurbriggen's full sister Swiss Miss shears a fleece almost as heavy as some of the studs on Little Creek Farm's elite herdsire row. Zurbriggen's dam Heidi is ranked 22 out of nearly 32,000 animals in the EPD database for SDAFD. Its in the genes. Take the guesswork out and let Zurbriggen work for you! Herdsire's Dam; Got Blue?

OSA Peruvian Katrina

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 1320190DOB: 8/25/200519 yrs
Beautiful tall full Peruvian foundation female with Royal Fawn and Camelot in her background. This lady is a herdsire's dam, hands down. She produces a winner no matter what male we take her to; the gold standard of any production female. We can't brag enough about her. We value her contribution so much in our breeding program that we have retained her last son sired by Accoyo America Zurbriggen to eventually stand on our elite herdsire row. In 2023 Katrina gave birth to a stunning light fawn female, Fiona, sired by Accoyo America Polar Shadow. This is her final cria and at nearly 19 years old, Katrina will enjoy retirement here on our farm and watch her sons, daughters and granddaughters grow and mature. We proudly retain Fiona as an elite foundation female in our breeding program to carry on her mom's legacy. Description

Oscar is the product of crossing 2 of our key accoyo lines: His light fawn dam, Katrina has been an outstanding producer for us-every cria male or female has been top notch/show quality and we have even consigned her offspring to the Parade of Champions auction. Oscar's sire is our banner herdsire, Accoyo America Zurbriggen who ranks in the top 1% EPD's and shears over a 10 lb blanket! So, good stuff here. Oscar himself is a well grown attractive male with presence and strong bone. He carries a soft dense fleece with crimp that is developing nicely. He is easy to work with and a standout amongst his birthing group. Alot to love with him!
